Thank you. Thank you very much.
  2. Yeah, we might leave some of the camp love songs at home... I've checked with the guys and they're all free so it's a definetely from us.
  3. Quiter kind of band is what we are, sir. And slightly desperate to play in Aberdeen again. Headlight <Headlightmusic>
  4. Speaking of crap defenders... Zander Diamond. Everyone used to rave about him, but now it's generally accepted that he's a bit pish. I saw him playing for Scotland U21 at Pittodrie against France a while back, and it was the worst performance from any player I've ever seen, he got turned inside out and taken off at half-time. I think it'll take a while for Aberdeen to sort out the back four because it was built around Anderson, but that's probably why Tangoman brought in McNamara.
  5. Ben Folds? They'd do well.

He'll get caned in the next match because it's against some random Spaniard who isn't meant to be that good.
  7. Quality stuff. I see you're playing at Wizard Festival? My band are doing a bit of an acoustic set too, should be a decent weekend. I know a few fiddle players, they're all teenage girls though...
  8. I haven't seen it, but I hope so. I've been humming the Requiem of Forest all day...
  9. Thank you. I was fearing that everyone liked him. His solo "hits" have all been dire. He's also a right wee breast.
  10. Yeaha. They've released three albums, recently got dropped by Island because their latest didn't break out of Ireland. Again. They've a self-published live CD/DVD coming out soon. I saw them playing twice last year in Glasgow at King Tuts and Garage. The Tuts gig was one of the best I've ever been to, Captain were supporting and it was a fantastic night. Lemon Tree would be a great venue for them.
  11. Agreed. I just don't like being told what my music taste is/how I decide it by some random who doesn't really know what they're talking about. Moving on, Amazon market place is quality. Have you ever had problems with people not sending you stuff? I find it's a lot more reliable than ebay.
  12. True. Though, not all the CDs that are cheap are THAT old. I got the latest Muse album for 5 a couple of days ago.
  13. Yeah I know, it was just a stupid thing to say. Everyone is referring to a "sales rack". Why? Half the CDs in the entire shop are a fiver or under. I don't buy CDs because they are cheap. What would be the point in that? I'll give an example - last week I bought an older Tom MacRae album, having purchased the latest one and enjoyed it. At Fopp, it cost me a fiver, in Virgin it was 11.99 In conclusion, Kimy is a tit.
  14. Foyer Music is cheap, but you have to be under 25 - www.foyerlive.com The likes of Captain Toms I don't think are worth it just for rehearsing.
  15. Yeah 3 or 5 a CD is ridiculous... Also, new albums aren't exactly overpriced. They are generally a tenner aren't they?
  16. If anyone offers you a job in Fraserburgh, take it. Or alternatively, kill yourself right there and then and save yourself the pain.
  17. Yep, I agree it's a beauty of a guitar. I bought one a few years ago and it's served me very well. Someone should buy it.
  18. The draw for the second qualifying round is 3rd August.
  19. Why is the Gunt concealed by the trousers and not the top? If I had a Gunt I reckon I'd tuck my trousers round the bottom of it and let the top hang loose, no?
  20. Yes, yes there is . But I'm sure there are some bands around here you'd like... there's this band called Headlight, I hear they're okay... 8-) headlightmusic.bebo.com
