    Dons for Europa?

Hero! Yeah Lennon needs a kicking, man-marked by big Nipper, thats what I say. The gutter is that O'Brien, Hammill, probably Wilson, possibly De Vries, etc, etc are going to leave in the summer. I have a sinking feeling our best player will be Jim of the Hamilton variety...

    Dons for Europa?

Yeah Byrne was a joke and Langfield couldn't get a game for us. Dempsey is good and you know it. Also, Barry Nic, that was the most bitter treachery of them all. Not to mention your management team.
  3. Welcome to Morrow Skip Hire. Skip heroes. Mine was about 60. Pretty decent. Maybe you could hire one, then shamelessly go round your neighbours charging them a fiver to chuck some stuff on... Alternatively, you could take the illegal approach and drive them to an abandoned alley in the middle of some black, black night and dump them.

    Dons for Europa?

I'm unashamed to say... I'M A DUNFERMLINE FAN Yeah, you heard it. We're relegated. Gutter. I was there when we went down, almost the worst day of my life. Still, we have Europe to look forward to next season, and I seriously reckon we can take Celtic at Hampden. Plus, if the Dons get into Europe, that's almost like two Dunfermlines. Seriously, could you poach any more of our players if you tried?! Bastards.
  5. True. I say she's almost definetely dead. If not, then it's probably something worse. Leaving her alone in the house was at best naive, at worst utterly stupid and irresponsible. They must be wracked with guilt though.
  6. Gutted, was all geared for some anti-vegetariam sentiments.... But yeah, that is a stupid idea - losing customers apparently for no real reason. It remind me of the Yorkie "Not for Girls" campaign. Sure, it was a bit of non-PC banter, but I bet they lost money. My girlfriend stopeed buying them. Silly.
  7. Good question. 40, and I'm doing you a favour!
  8. Gretsch 10" Blackhawk Snare you say? C'est possible. Is it in decent condition?
  9. Wesley Semi-Acoustic Guitar Bowlback Green A bit crap I tell no lies, it's not a classic piece of musical engineering. However, it does the job pretty well and is the most reliable thing in the Western world. If you fancy expanding your collection with a solid, clunking guitar with a surprising decent sound, look no further.
  10. Who gives a crap? Of course it's awful. It's Eurovision. Next year we should send in some 12-year-olds playing Nirvana covers just to take the piss a little more.
  11. Not really. Their drum kit is awful, but if you take in your own, and work on properly gating everything then you can get pretty good sounds. Believe me, I've tried. But, if that's still not enough, how about ARC in Mintlaw? A bit of the beaten track, but their facilities are actually immense and the sound you get is professional and then some. ARC Studios - Recording Studios in Aberdeenshire
  12. What a man. Lapalco is absolute genius. Alternative to Love is mildly shite though.
  13. One of the best I've bought solely on its cover - Budapest - Too Blind To Hear Nice cover, pretentious title, fantastic album.
  14. It's certainly a tune. Incidentally, is "Metarie" a Brendan Benson reference, or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
  15. Definite sprog. But super lyrically talented? Really? He strings together some nice wee lines about real life in a vaguely clever fashion, sure, but he's hardly a poet laureate. I can think of a gazillion people who write better. But, then again, compared to The View et al he does come across as a bit of a lyrical hero. And yes, agreed, Razorlight are abysmal
  16. Standard tuning. If it ain't broke....
  17. You've got to love Foyermusic. Not the highest quality, but dirt cheap, and the guys can give you advice on pretty much everything. Would be well worth booking a couple of hours for the chat if nothing else.
  18. Boddam, near Peterhead. A nice wee day out, just about half an hour from Aberdeen. Delightful. 10 seems steep. But it's all for charity, and you get 8 and a half hours of music-related banter for your hard-earned cash.
  19. We're playing the Foyerlive Fundraiser on 8th June at The Lemon Tree. Otherwise, we've got dates out of town, but I've just handed in a a bunch of demos so hopefully we'll be playing in town a lot more.
  20. Thanks, much appreciated. Ah, the Brucklay, a fine establishment. Not as scaffy as The Howe, not as full of drunken pensioners as the Legion.
  21. Duke Special - Songs from the Deep Forest The best album I've bought this year, easily.
  22. If you feel the need to flog off your old drum kit, that would be lovely. It needs to be in decent condition - I'll buy separate parts though, particularly cymbals. Many thanks
  23. Hey I'm in a band called Headlight, based in New Deer in Buchan, we play quite a few places around here, but have started recently playing a bit more in Aberdeen. We play our own wee brand of acoustic-based pop/rock. We've got a bit of an EP on the go, I've put some tunes online - could you let us know what you think? Cheers headlightmusic.bebo.com (This is the one we use more often) www.myspace.com/headlightmusic
