vocals the vocals are the most underworked part of the band although they are generally what we're going for. we are all well into bands like cannibal corpse , deeds of flesh, nile etc and you'd be hard pushed to figure out their words just from hearing it, thats why they have the lyrics in the album sleeve. i wouldnt compare pantera or sepultura to our musical style so i wouldnt really want to use their vocal style either, i would like some dying fetus style mid range vocals or some kataklysm style high range but im the guitarist and i work on the music side of things. the songs on our myspace all had the vocals added for the first time when we recorded it, we had no idea what dave(our singer) was going to do as we told him he could just do his own thing. come on we need a bassist!!! so if u like the band in n e way and ur a bassist let us know.

We only got asked to do this gig like 2 weeks before the date so we probably wouldnt have gigged for a while n e way, im sorry if i sounded over-defensive just need encouragement rather than discouragement at this point. yes i know plenty of people wil think\say we're crap but i think the same of other bands so i guess thats just the way the shit slides, peace and in my experience every1 ive met who appreciates and understands music(especially death/extreme metal) to a high degree is a musician of some variety.no offense intended, purely my opinion

you obviously dont know what generic metal is cuz we aint that. and yes we know we need a bassist we are tryin to get one but most bassists round aberdeen seem to be either crap or in a band.also keep in mind that was our second gig and our first was last December. i know you have your opinion but i cant be assed with spending time on this shit for sum1 like you to sum it all up in one word, r u a musician? if u r you should have respect for other music and if your not i wouldnt expect u to have a feckin clue what your on about

Style is Prog Death\Death , also if n e bands want to do a gig with us( or a bassist wants to join!...we need 1) get in contact we are looking for bands of similiar styling for heavy metal/death themed nites.

reason:- You Cant have a band with 1 guitar! i dont want to add another guitar and bassists with ability are all hiding or in bands. Also because we've discovered new styles of music as we've progressed and have either completely changed style or evolved every few years along the way.Now we have got to a point where our style is more focused and we can also play it accurately (i dont know if youve heard much extreme death,tech death or prog death but the ability of the musicians involved has to be of a pretty high standard to get the music over) yeah and id also say that giving our band time to mature rather than just focusing on pumping out songs or gigging before we're ready has meant we have focused heavily on the quality of the music, i am mostly writing 'through composition' songs at the mo so this increases the complexity of putting the songs together.am sitting on an e.p worth of songs and have a rough demo without vocals available for any bassists interested(or n e 1 else 4 that matter).we're all 22 and we're looking to get this moving as soon as possible. have played a gig without bass but sound engineer was a lazy asshole so pretty balls sound but there you go. hope some of this ramblin answers your question
