Nah i know the bullet would obv stop - but i meant in an "ideal" world - like where there was no forces acting upon it. I want to know how they test the range on these weapons... Surely the 1.5 miles in the case of that sniper rifle would be the ultimate range in "normal" conditions? This thread is like that thing on brainiac - things that make you go hmm.

Regarding shooting a straight line - providing there is no resistance etc, wouldnt the bullet just keep moving? The rifle has given the bullet momentum - which projects the bullet - there is nothing to stop the momentum so it would just keep going right? whats the physics term? The momentum won't stop until an equal and opposing force stops it? Something like that.

Hi, I'm considering upgrading my head soon. Currently have an Ampeg SVT 4 pro - but i'm thinking of going the full valve route. But i'm not sure... What heads would be worth looking at? I'm thinking about the SVT CL or VR or the SVT 2 Pro. Or perhaps even the mesa 400+ What are folks opinions on these heads? I play dancey/rocky stuff mainly but do dabble with other stuff. Also does anyone know any places in Scotland that would have the above amps so i could test out? Cheers for any help/suggestions.

I have a Lakland Skyline DJ4 - i love it. The sound is brilliant and it feels awesome. I did try dozens of basses before i decided on it. Even if the skylines are the budget models, it sounded better than the "proper" ones. It faired very well against the sadowsky i tried too. Just was cheaper

Well it does fit in my astra but its an awkward sod. Ideally i could stack the 2 cabs in the car, so id technically have more room. Also i want that 33hz bottom end i think the deep impact will siiiing then.
