  2. Hey all, I'm looking to get a custom bass so i'm selling some that i dont really use. So with a very heavy heart I've decided to sell my 'ray. It comes in the now discontinued Burnt Apple finish which I believe is hard to come by now. With MM hard case. Also has a Hipshot D-Tuner. 800 firm.
  3. Bump! Also maybe selling my stingray. In now discontinued burnt apple finish.
  4. Still here guys Had a few interesting trade offers but nothing really taken my fancy that much.
  5. Not a problem mate - You're welcome to try it out if you like?
  6. I should add that this does have a really nice low B - I just cant get my head and hands to do 5 strings again! It has a brilliant sound and is also really light (even more so since it is 5 strings.)
  7. Hah would you cuddle her afterwards though? Welcome try it john
  8. From my ad on basschat. Note - I've owned this bass for about 1 month or so - Just not loving the 5stringness now! So these pictures are the previous owner - can be viewed and tested etc. Features the more favored 4/1 headstock, Montego Black/Gold Scratchplate combination with a lovely Maple neck. 34" Scale This bass has had the some what anemic original active electronics taken out and replaced with a John East J-retro Deluxe which gives you ultimate control over your bass. Features Active/passive switch, Bass, Treble, Extra bright push pull switch, Mid volume and Mid contour control, as well as a passive tone control! Maximum knobbage! http://east-uk.com/jretrodeluxe01.pdf Complementing the pre-amp is a set of Seymour Duncan Quarterpounders, lovely hot pickups with loads of grind that can be toned down to a nice full funk sound. All electronics have been FULLY shielded with copper tape. There is little to no background noise when the bass is plugged in. The bass has a lovely Low action which is happy to be adjusted. The Truss rod is working well 100%. There are playing marks on the body which are quite hard to show up under lights. You would have to look at it in the right light to see!" I would be looking for what I paid for this bass - 900. I'm based in Aberdeen. Not sure what i'd be looking for in a trade. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...l=Fender+deluxe is the original thread.
  9. Ross - any idea what the lineup is on the 6th July? at Drummonds. Ta

  14. Hi All, Selling my DHA VT1-EQ-Bass Drive valve OD, EQ, DI, h/p - It is defo the bass one. It's got a really annoying hum which i've attempted to resovle with a 12v supply but its still humming. To be honest, i'm cant be bothered going to the effort of repairing and could use the board space to get a laptop controller. If someone can fix it, this is a steal. It maybe a simple fix i have no idea. I'd imagine it probs would be a simple repair job to anyone who knows their stuff! 50. I've probs used it all together about 30 mins. In a little over a year (Dated Febuary 2010). I'll even throw in the diago 9v converter/adaptor thing if i can find it. Dave
  15. Also. Peavey CS800 Power amp - 400w each side - one channel is giving a lower output. Not really sure why. 50 Studiomaster Session 16-2 Gold mixing desk - 50 - everything works brilliantly on it - all sliders/knobs etc still there. 2 x Carslbro 15" speakers. These are complete monsters. Come with stands. Ping me an email for pics. Say 100. Yamaha stage monitors - i cant see details on these. Say 50 for the pair. again i can send pics if required.
  16. I watched it a few months ago. I've watched far worse.Even the gross factor doesnt seem that bad when compared with stuff like Hostel/Saw. Ever seen Cyrus? That film should've been banned. 2 hours of my life i could've spent poking needles in my eyes, setting myself on fire or slowly removing every hair on my body. with tweezers. It would've been more enjoyable. I've yet to watch ASF but its still probs just overhyped nonsense.
