  1. Holy shit, these guys are awesome! I remember this game being really fucking hard.
  2. Duracell was awesome when he played the Tunnels a few years ago. Great gig, especially when he cracked out Bubble Bobble.
  3. Thanks for the heads up, but I don't use spotify - I will probably just pick his discography bit by bit.
  4. Very nice tune there - I really need to start checking out Luke Vibert's stuff more often, as I am only familiar with some of his Wagon Christ stuff and Lover's Acid.
  5. I'd say both Ninja Tune and Warp epitomise 90s electronica. While Ninja Tune tends to have a more diverse line up (which I assume is part of your point), Warp did indeed push a lot of great artists out there. They lose points for having Maximo Park on their label though. Astralwerks may be worth a mention also.
  6. Thanks for the find, however I already have it on my computer - I just prefer to actually own it I am keeping an eye out though. Ah, how can I forget to even mention this: I should probably stop spamming links. There's just so many amazing video game soundtracks out there.
  7. Good call on Funki Porcini there - very chilled out stuff and great background music for late night endeavours. 9 Lazy 9 are also on Ninja Tune, definitely worth checking out:
  8. Nah it isn't chiptune - it's an arranged album. This is the original:
  9. All the Turrican soundtracks are great - Chris Hlsbeck did the soundtrack for all of them. One CD I have been trying to find for ages is an arrangement album of the Turrican 1-3 soundtrack. I have a album with all the original C64 versions on it, but the track this is from is quite rare I think:
  10. Here's the main theme off of the Interstate '76 soundtrack: YouTube - Interstate '76 - Interstate '76 Theme It's hard to believe that Arion Salazar from Third Eye Blind and Brian Mantia who played drums with Primus are responsible for this amazing music.
  11. Interstate mutha fuckin '76. YouTube - Interstate '76 - Never Get Outta The Car (Extended Slap Mix) Aside from that, I'm an avid game soundtrack collector. Probably my favourites that I own are the first Streets of Rage and Chrono Trigger.
  12. Just add spoiler tags around anything ([ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] without the spaces). I assume you eventually pass through the Omega 4 Relay because it is mentioned in the trailers for the game before it came out.
  13. Personally I don't like them because they are thieving bastards: baby art blog : crystal castles steal music Broad term indeed - personally I took advantage of Warp's 20th anniversary deal on Bleep which had 2 albums by all the artists that were voted to be on the Warp 20 compilation for a tenner. Squarepusher, The Black Dog, Autechre, LFO, Plaid and Nightmares on Wax are all worth a mention. That fairly bumped up the collection anyway. Jimmy Edgar is surprisingly great, although he looks like a bit of an art fag.
  14. Words cannot do this game justice. I am a very skeptical person when it comes to new games, and I never buy into the hype. However, the writing and storytelling in this game comes close to the level of Deus Ex and sometimes I just find myself looking around, soaking the environments in for what they are. Definitely one of the most immersive games I have ever played, and there's still plenty to do.
  15. Stop making posts that I can't rep you for. That would be an awesome front cover for an album though.
  16. That is absolutely fantastic.
  17. There's a good article on Kotaku about this: Why The iPad Is Crap Futurism - Technology - Kotaku Check out the link to SixthSense - now THAT's innovation, and THAT will be revolutionary - not some half-arsed tablet 'PC'.
  18. I wish I could give you rep for this. Imagining what this would sound like is hilarious.
  19. Yeah, you get special armour that regenerates your health and allows you to run a lot faster with the Collector's Edition, however there's no way I am using that - it would completely remove any challenge from the game whatsoever. Are you able to get access to the Cerberus Network for free with the version you bought? You are able to visit the Normandy crash site, as well as a new character you can get to join your team.
  20. I can't fucking wait for this. Hopefully it arrives today from Game. I am playing it on PC which no doubt will be superior to the 360 version - the command menu resembles Knights of the Old Republic a lot more on PC. I tried to play it on 360 but it didn't feel that intuitive, plus the frame rate was a lot worse. At least the elevator scenes aren't so bad when you are using Steam because you can just look up porn while you wait. Unfortunately, there's no planet roaming sections in the Mako anymore I liked fighting the sandworm things.
  21. That's not drum and bass. Gtfo our thread. Plus, it's pretty weak by dubstep standards. This tune is a classic:
  22. Just a small note, but I'd advise keeping your HDD and just sending the unit away - Microsoft tends to usually just replace the entire XBox with one that has already been repaired, and then they will repair yours and send that to someone else. Plus you probably don't want to lose your saved games.
  23. Holy shit! And to imagine I thought nothing could ever beat this laugh: YouTube - Break dancing Sefus
