Yeah, game called off at quarter past 12-ish, wicket looked okay but very soggy on the outfield. Boo...

Neil McCallum also having his final fling this weekend according to Cricket Scotland website. Should make tomorrow's game no bother, 50/50 for Sunday. Pay at the gate aye?

Not sure the weather is meant to be all that brilliant, I'll be taking a brolly along. Would be nice to see Badger playing, I was led to believe he retired straight after last weekend? Hope I've got that wrong.....
  4. SFL gets going tomorrow after the distraction of the diddy and diddier cups. Loving our new away top, not loving our chances this season......
  5. Was going to give this a pop but ending up catching Laurencekirk AIDS (alcohol induced deep sleep) instead. Any good? No more donk-league for the while now the darts season is about to get going, not going to miss getting constantly shafted with AK against five deuce and suchlike......
  6. Grim stuff at Firhill today, shite ref and complacency at 1-0 is always likely to backfire on you. As for the draw: I'd fancy us to beat all of them at home, but quite easily lose the lot of them away....
  7. Going for a round of golf in glorious Mearns sunshine earlier, and not being as rubbish as I thought I would be. No blisters either, boost....

    Pet Hates!

I'd consider small claims court, sounds like you could quite easily take her for more than just the rent reduction if she's causing you a shitload of stress and forcing you to dispose of your own belongings because of the condition of the property? Oh, and I'll second/third/etc any sentiment on the forthcoming F1 deal. Physically sick.....
  9. Sally McCoist is now 7/1 from 12/1 earlier today: http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/e/2180244/sp/1st-SPL-Manager-To-Leave---W+O-Calderwood.html
  10. Ugly 2-1 win for Thistle on Saturday, wasteful in front of goal first half and let Stenny into the game after the break. Sinclair looks like a very useful signing. Quadruple still on.
  11. I'm at Firhill for our encounter against Stenhousemuir in the highly-prestigious-until-you-get-turfed-out-Ramsdens-cup, a boring 2-0 win in front of 1200 hardly souls taking advantage of a tenner in is my prediction.....

Probably done, but arseholes using camera phones and the like at gigs. Get the fucking things out of my line of sight and enjoy the gig plz thx bai etc.....
  13. Our convoy left Laurencekirk at just after 5 thinking we might get in ahead of the big-time jams. We were wrong. Barely made it in time for the support act (although missing them wouldn't have been a bad thing, they were utter, utter toilet). I thought Maiden were alright. Certainly picked the right batch of 'classics' to make up for the onslaught of Final Frontier material, which I didn't think much of at all. Brucie's voice is beginning to show its years though, which is a bit of a shame.....
  14. NEDS - Peter Mullan's film about 1970's Glasgow youth. Not a masterpiece like I'd been told it was, but gripping enough to keep me interested.
  15. I have to admit I chuckled when I saw on the Beeb website that you'd signed a striker called Michael Gash! For the second time too, hah. Thistle have been pretty rank pre-season, lost 1-0 going on 6 or 7 at Stephen Craigan's testy last night, there's a Sellick hotchpotch XI visiting on Saturday. Great.....

  17. Might actually make it a week Monday, badminton club tends to cool off over the summer. Fancy a game sometime Lucky? I'll get your bitch-ass moving round the court in double-quick time...
  18. The annoyance you speak of is what gave the McNulty/Freamon characters the poetic license/element of desperation to carry the illegal investigation thread though, surely? The McNulty 'problem drinking' arc was inevitable too, really..... Bloody hell, quoting a spoiler and replying in kind. I feel like I'm in the Mafia or something.
  19. True, sadly. PS is the king of kings right now. New season of Stoney Donkey League tonight for a bit of light relief though....
  20. Heard plenty of evidence to the contrary, though I suppose being a massive unbeliever in online poker it's like preaching to the converted! I only touch PS to try and satellite into UKIPT events and got really close to a seat at Newcastle, but got busted out by a very suspicious turn of events. Ho hum. 40 quid satellite for the Goliath in Coventry next Monday is tickling my fancy, would expect at least 6 packages for 300 to be available in Aibrrdeen, or might try and win through a thinner field in Dundee for fewer seats. Decisions.....
  21. You can't beat a bit of Bully....
  22. Machete - Unbridled B-movie joy with extra helpings of cheese. Seeing Steven Seagal as a baddie makes a nice change too. I liked this.
  23. Writing was on the wall for FTP after what Phil Ivey said regarding his WSOP boycott if you ask me. (Wouldn't really fancy taking my roll over to Stars either, it's as bent as a nine-bob note....)
  24. Got done over by a total luckbox twice this afternoon , sod takes 2/3rds of my stack fairly early after calling down three streets with A4 on a dry ace-high board (muggins here had AK, was miles ahead until 4 on the river, ugh), recovered from that and eventually threw my last few thousand in with bullets, the luckbox calls with JJ and hits on the turn.....:swearing:
