i tried the proto-punk. i prefer the original or hardcore IPA's. proto' isn't as strong either. they want to change the regular punk IPA recipe to that permanently, depending on the response it gets in the bar.

I'd say if you can, bin it. I get almost exactly 11mb/s download and around 2mb/s upload with sky broadband and I'm not even paying for it yet. Edit: that's the 10-20mb unlimited dealie. I wish they had a 2-10mb unlimited option. I'd get around 500kb/s slower connection for about half the price. Still, it's only going to be 7.50 a month when my 6 months free are up. o2 called me up the other day trying to sell ne their broadband "at a discount rate for being a loyal customer", he asked my current download speeds and I said 11mb/s DJ voice: "woah,are you sure?!" Uhm, yup. I have an active download with speed indicator on right now. "well that's unusual, because (blah blah blah sales patter). How much are you paying?" Well, nothing at the moment. 6 months free and 7.50 a month after that. Silence for a few seconds...."well, just remember our quality of service is 2nd to none and it's only 10.50 a month". So let me get this straight, I'd get early contract termination fee's from sky AND I'd get to pay you more for exactly the same speed?! Where do I sign up?!

rouge piper sounded like a name for a lower end red wine, i saw that hog had posted and assumed that must be the case:up: i heard him the other day, same scenario.....no headphones with me. its pretty poor. not as bad as the accordion player that hangs outside waterstones/peckhams mid-union street. i can hear him from my desk when he sits outside peckhams and he plays the same two bloody songs all day. he used to have a speaker but it was either nicked, broken or he got told not to use it anymore as he's stopped using it. which is nice.

It got leaked and I have a hacked xbox. I'd finished reach 2 days before release too. I was up until 4am playing it. I'm glad to see a few more colours in the game. It's still a bit bland looking at times. (I haven't reached it in gameplay yet but) the new Vegas strip is a medley of colour, just as you'd expect I guess. It's going to make a welcome change from yellow, (desert daytime), or just dark greys and browns(night time or Anywhere indoors).

The feeling of the game has shifted slightly. There's much more depth to pretty much everything I'm not too fond of the factions. Do like the weapon modifications. The map looks a little smaller and there seems to be a lot of cut and paste from fallout three with roads, wilderness, insides of buildings etc. It feels more like a really good Expansion pack than a new game. I would suggest the personality trait that adds the "stranger element " to fallout. You'll see what I mean when you create your character. I've encountered a couple of things that wouldn't have been there had it not been active and I'm glad I chose it. (trying not to give anything away). Botflies look badass now. That's all for now.

Mirrors edge and "jump" (a kind of simple to use VNC, works over 3G) are both great. I've said it before but "installous" is a must for anyone with a jailbroken ayephone Sonic 4 is alright too, a bit steep at 5.99 (last time i checked) Peggle! Peggle is a must.

thats one thing im regretting about never updgrading. Reach loads like a motherfucker from the disk. i saw a notification last night when i logged in that Reach (unlike halo 3) is optimised to load from the hard drive. I'll have to delete San Andreas if i want to install reach though! nae happening. i'm never going through all those gang turf wars again. pain in the ass

you now get 4, 20 (works out at 12), 60 and 250gb HDD's. i'd say go with a 60gb to be safe if you can. dont know if they have them for the new models though. do the old hard drives fit the slim models anyone? i doubt it. i'd like to have a bigger hard drive but cant be fucked getting one of the HDD data transfer cables or taking it apart, attaching via SATA to my pc and then doing the same again with brand new one. voiding the warranty on the day of purchase of a M$ product is never a good idea.

using all my willpower to resist the 'told you so' ..... its really up to you! depends what you want it for really. you get 250GB HDD versions or 4GB versions of the slim for a decent price. i cant see why you'd ever need that much space on a console, especially since you can stream music from your pc even while you're mid game. you can do the same with movies via media centre or media centre extender. I have 2 xbox's, both originals with 1 12gb HDD between them. does me fine. have a look around for deals and see what suits you best.

have a psp with 8gb memstick pro duo i'm toying with selling. it will come with around 100 games from the very first to some of the newest. the mem stick alone is about 30 quid (probably cheaper online but thats about what i got it for 2 months ago in currys) i checked in the game shops and a 2nd hand (scratched to fuck) psp goes for 60. not sure what i'm looking for price wise but considering it's got the 8 GIG memstick, custom firmware, 100+ games (ps1 games, psp games, i wasnt counting the 100's of megadrive games and 100's of snes games)..... i dunno. i'm not convinced i'll part with it but since i dont use it very often if i get a good offer then i will. i'd miss all the snes and megadrive games but since i have them on my xbox (1) anyways.... if you're interested, PM for more info.
