  1. I'm not sure, I'll have to give it a second listen. Are you gonna send me those files?
  2. They are good. Not keen on the guitars, but the vocals sound very acomplished and professional. (nit, need to chase him up again.) also, why didn't you come and see me when you were in dundee?
  3. Na was this french guy; managed to film his playing for a bit before he noticed and asked if I wanted to play his violin and kept pointing at his case for me to put money in. I think he saw how amused I was.
  4. If anyone is in town this morning, outside markies is the BEST Busker ever 'playing' violin.
  5. Nice work bas, though I'll follow this up for you since it failed.
  6. I have a memory from a film I watched when I was young and have never been able to work out what it was. I WONDER if any one can shed light on this recollection. It looked as though it were medievil times, though with a fantasy elements; magic may have been involved. One scene I remember there were people in a tunnel and there was booby traps slowly closing in on them, much like the scene in labyrinth, though horizontally rather than vertically. I think one of them died. Another, towards the end I think, involved a wizard type pulling someones heart from their chest, but it was glowing hot and he couldn't hold onto it, subsequently dropping it or throwing it over a balcony. I think this scene was set in the mist of a castle, whilst a battle was taking place. Any help would be amazing. Thanks.
  7. The conclusion is slightly flawed: it's commonplace to see people doing that action in this century - they must be using a mobile phone, we can't apply the same logic to that action almost 100 years ago. Too much thinking I feel.
  8. Not sure if anyone has seen this, though worth a watch. YouTube - Time Traveller Caught On 1928 Charlie Chaplin Film Video
  9. Second. This thread has all my favourite videos. Now my favourite thread. Thanks christoph.
  10. I take it that its in near new condition as you've barely used it?
  11. Leftism - all the sounds are simply outstanding
  12. I do with about 4 quite regulary mainly because we were and still are quite close. Don't understand why people request digital friendships purely because we happened to go to the same school at the same time. It's obviously not as black and white as that, though it all seems a bit hollow; almost like 'keeping up appearances'. In the facebook format, I guess you feel obliged to 'accept' or 'add' someone from school because, although you have literally nothing to say to that person, it's the done thing, or would have been several years ago if your lives were running in the same circles. I guess the same can be attributed to former work colleages, you'd form relationships with these people you'd see day in day out, but only for the purpose of social compliance. My thoughts are people are in your life for as long as they should be. Thats not to sound cold and calculated, mainly applies if neither party makes the effort.
  13. That was gud. Thought the whole remarrying sub plot was a little unnecessary and poorly scripted, plus it wasn't really tied up at the end. Looking forward to seeing if they make more based on this series' success.
  14. Big thumbs up - they're playing down here on the 5th as well - ill definitely be attending
  15. Wow thanks to everyone, I'll definitely be checking. Keeno - thanks a big massive bunch - I shall check it all out, got into motw through kayo dot; purely because kayo was the most amazing and original thing I'd heard in a long time. I'll czech it all and let you know how I get on.
  16. Found myself in the rut of skipping music more than i am listening to it (in a music player/ipod shuffle enviroment), anyone got any recommendations? Bands I have truly enjoyed/got into recently; Band of Horses,The Faceless, Frightened Rabbit, Temper Trap, maudlin of the Well. Having said that, i could be down to my short attention span and the way i listen to music; usually in the car or on plugs at work, and i am not giving music the time of day and just looking for a instantly indentifiable hook to fit my mood or whatever. Which maybe makes for an interesting topic of discussion.
  17. Second. I have a reliable pair of akgs; like bigsby iv been through a few, these have been good all rounders.
