  1. If i'm listening to an album as long as its all about the same I dont mind. I dont want to be adjusting the volume all the time. Mix tapes can be a problem though, some songs really quiet and some really loud
  2. If anyone is up for it i'll bring along a mix cd to the Desalvo gig on friday
  3. I'v got an exam on the 23rd. But I'm gonna try and convince myself that I dont need to study on this night. If I am successful I will be there.
  4. Why did you stop kirk? Edit. Kirk clean out your PM box
  5. I'd use it, I dont have that much material though so couldn't be a regular contributor. If you didn't like/got bored of the CD you got back out could you bring it along to the next gig and swap it for something else?
  6. Wow. That means that arms companys can now make even nastier whepons that will work against stuff like this and sell them to anyone who is planning to go to war with the US, Fantastic
  7. Yeh. I'll go have a lok there later, cheers mate
  8. I need a turntable, And I have very little money. So has anyone got one kicking around that isnt used anymore? I'm only really looking to spent 20 or so at the moment. I also have a car so could come pick it up.
  9. I voted for Goldblade too. But I didn't see Laeto. The goldblade show was a fantastic preformance
  10. Yeh, I'v sent them an email but if I could get it done in aberdeen it would cost less in postage. I'll see what they say though.
  11. I have a Creative zen which is out of warrenty and needs fixed. I have taken it appart myself but it needs a very accurate soldering job or a new circuit board. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Aberdeen that could do this sort of work? Or any where on the web that might repair it?
  12. I was wondering when something about this was going to be posted. I saw the poster in R&B a couple of days ago. If I'm in Aberdeen on the night I will definatly be there.
  13. I just came across this on another forum that I am a regular member of: http://www.pipelinecard.org It's basically a concept that's in a similar vein to the way companies get dicounts on fuel through petrol cards, but for the general public - apparently if they get enough people to join, then there is an agreement in principle with a retailer to offer a discount on petrol of between 5 and 10p per litre of petrol, which isn't to be sniffed at. I know it sounds a bit suspect, but it has been featured in the press, and it's free, so I can't see an angle, if there is one there... Of course, if it does turn out to be a great big filthy scam, then I take no responsibility, but I've signed up to it at any rate.
  14. I'v had it in bottles in Archie sompsons and the moorings, its good. I'll be sampling a pint of this at the gig tomorrow
  15. I will be there. Should be a good one and the day after I finish uni as well
  16. It is a bit really. If the 7'' is out I will probably take one off your hands
  17. I'll probably pop down for this. Today we fight are ace and I havn't seen the other bands
  18. Yeh. I have noticed this about Moshulu gigs in particular, at Flogging Molly when the band started every one tried to push forward. What was this ever going to achieve? It squashed the people at the front and ment it was to cramped to dance in the main bit of the crowd! It got better towards the end and I got a good jig with a bunch of decent people who wern't obsessed with getting to the barrier
  19. I was thinking second hand, either pawnshops or Ebay would probably be the best bet
