Personally I found rock band very lacking. I wanted to like it but the kit was very flimsy and the track listing was uninspired. GHWT looks to be a far better option. Games TM this month has a hands on preview and they say the drums are great and that the guitar is the best of any yet made. I have put in an order for it as initial quantites also come with a bass (as well as wireless guitar, wireless drums and a mic). I have stuck with PS2 until now for my guitar thrills, but the time you factor in discounts and the suchlike there is hardly any difference in the price between getting the 360 version and the PS2 kit.

I got mine down the Beach store. Maybe worth a look as they had a few things reduced across a few formats.

I bought this on dvd last year and it really is a superb film. I would also recommend 'This Is England' by the same director. Both gritty films with largely unknown casts putting in excellent performances.

It's not although the public doesn't like 'old skool' games, as proven by Geo Wars 2 which is the fastest selling Xbox live arcade game so far. Minter should pick himself up, dust himself off and try again. On the subject of live arcade has anyone else on here tried Bionic Commando rearmed? It's very good, whether you liked the original or not. A very good example of how an old game should be updated for a modern audience.

I'v tried the trial version twice, and I really wanted it to be good, but it's not. Minter (the guy who made it) is acting like a spoiled brat about it's lack of sales, crying because Frogger outsold it.

I said exactly the same thing to my other half about the beetlejuice comparism after I saw the film. To me the joker is a cross between him and Alex from a clockwork orange.

Sounds like a sensible plan. I'll warn you, I'm not up to competitve level, but I enjoy most fighters and I can usually hold my own. I'll try and get some other people on board this weekend and see if we can't get a 'meet' going in the coming weeks.

To be honest the vast majority of the 102 online games I'v had have been fine (360 version). There ARE a lot of cheap bastards on the ranked matches, but the player matches are mostly good. I guess it depends the location of the oposition and how good their connection is. On a side note I'm up for some fighting action, and I'm sure I could rope in some others too.
