Ah, you used the Richard -> Dick path to instant message board hilarity. Congratulations. It wasn't the Hedrons' tits that made me give them a good review, it was their energy, their tunes and the fact they looked like they were having fun...which is something far too many bands over the two days didn't convey. Most of them looked like they were bored shitless - or that this is "far too important an opportunity" to bounce around and have fun. You're right, I *should* try Right Hand Left again. I thought they were very good, I just didn't care for Bobby's vocals at the time and I can only be honest in what I write. But I don't NEED to hear anything just cos you have a problem with what I wrote on a fairly unknown website.

Nice one. I got a ticket for their March gig which must have been cancelled the moment I bought it.

I saw 1990s supporting Franz and their sound just didn't work in the AECC (but what does?) I thought they were great at the Tunnels though, very suprised by it. The new singles ace in a Stones / Clash kinda way. Long Blondes were the best I've seen all year - and the first time I've seen a decent crowd at the Tunnels...maybe that's just been my choice of gigs to go to. The Rebel were ok for a while but the guy really is an atrocious singer. Naturally he will believe in what he does, but that doesn't mean I have to listen to it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm pretty new to reviews. I've always had an opinion, but getting it across in words can be a bit difficult. For the record I really quite liked about 50% of Lunar's set, but hated the other 50%. Hope Neil doesn't tone it down too much though!

I totally missed out on tickets this year - going over to Oxegen instead. It's the exact same line-up isn't it? Give or take a few Scottish bands being replaced with Irish ones.

If they got Andy Bell to write more songs and kicked Liam's off then it may have been better. I can't imagine what it would have sounded like with Death in Vegas on board, I'm not surprised it didn't work out.

Shame it wasn't this weekend - I'm away back to Elgin tonight, but I'll be in London next weekend. Are these all Moray bands?
