  1. And almost on the subject of the thread, does anyone know of anyone drum looping type programs that I could pick up for free? It would also be useful if they were able to be exported into audacity.
  2. Mhmmn, I just looked back and found what you were referring to, I hadn't realised it was there. And also, the content Spellchecker gave alongside it concerns effects, and at no point displays that it was in fact the program I was looking for. Although it was helpful, there's a hell of a lot of information to take in reading that, and I'd say my post is still contributing something worthwhile, as the one in Spellchecker's very easy to overlook.
  3. To dig up this thread again, for anyone looking for something along the lines of this, Audacity is perfect, and can be found here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ Completely free, and does the job it's intended for without bogging you down in any techy stuff. Thanks to all who contributed also.
  4. I'll do my best to be at this one: their MP3s are ace.
  5. I'd love to see this gig, but I doubt I'd find anyone else willing to go, so it'll probably be out of the question. I'd go alone if I was a huge fan, but I'm not THAT much into Vai.
  6. Haha, no, certainly not. I get so frustrated though when other people are spoilt for choice on which person they want a relationship with, then poeple like me (albeit, most likely self-infliced through being such an arse) are sitting here masturbating my life away like a fucking idiot. *Crushes skull against wall.*
  7. Cause more problems than they solve. Fuck it.
  8. I suspected that, but it sounds fucking ace anyway!
  9. I really like the drum sound on this, rest of it is still very muddy though.
  10. Do you have a link where I could download them?
  11. That's fucking awesome- very Opeth influenced.
  12. This song is weak, regardless of the lad's age. I have to say, I've heard much worse though, but there's a lot of work to be done yet, 12 years old or not. And Jimmy Jazz's comment on Alice in Chains, like, what?
  13. On the subject of the thread, and in response to Ross's comment, I reckon Metal is Forever by Primal Fear could beat at least two of those on the cheese front.
  14. HEARTS ON FIRE' date=' HEARTS ON FIRE, BURNING WITH DESIRE!!!! Sounds like arse on fire. I don't know, they're a bit hit or miss, their first two albums are amazingly good, but their other ones seemed to get progressively worse over the years, until we hit All for You, which was fucking abysmal. Jeff Waters is a talented guy, but I don't know what the fuck he was trying to achieve there.
  15. Sonata Arctica Running Wild Hammerfall Lordi Cacophony King Diamond I'm tempted to say Annihilator. Oops....just did.
  16. Manowar, Rhapsody and Dragonforce would be a good start. From there you'd probably discover others naturally. There are also a lot of the shitty '80s bands, like Kiss, Poison, and dare I say Warlock to get stuck in to.
  17. I'd be interested in buying the MRS-4, if you're willing to wait for 2 weeks. I'm assuming the input jacks etc. are all in working order, as there's a lot of complaining about this in some of the reviews I've read of this recorder?
