  1. Just a suggestion...........Would it be possible for you guys to post some tabs of Black Atom songs on here, or on another guitar site? Judging by the response the album has had so far, I think there'd definitely be a demand for it, especially for us who are too fucking lazy and/or untalented to work them out ourselves! By the way, I was talking about guitar tabs, but I'm sure there are plenty of bassists and drummers who might use them too. If anything, it would bring some hits to the Atom site?
  2. I think it may have been Hotei, but I'm going to check out some of those other ones you listed too, Frosty. Thanks to everyone who replied.
  3. It could well be. Can you remember what's on the cover of the issue?
  4. I heard about a Japanese guitarist who is apparently very good and sells millions of records in his home country, but isn't very well known here. However, the dude who told me this couldn't recall his name. Can anyone help? I'd like to know his name, what kind of music he plays and if there's anything in particular that would be a good start to download. I know it's really vague, but it's worth a try I suppose.
  5. Well, I was going to buy the CD, but by that time I didn't have enough cash and judging by the One Up gig today (my first Atom gig), I'll probably buy it pretty soon, most likely tommorow. *makes little Dio symbol with fingers* Just a shame you didn't play more songs though.....can't make it tonight- fuck. Good time to all those who are though.
  6. I would be interested in doing rythmn guitar maybe, but my equipment is pretty 5th rate so I'd need to sort that first. It's not a full band but it would be a start...........
  7. Haha, I can play 3 chord punk (badly) on guitar, but there's probably a million people better than me who could so fuck.
  8. higher Physics fucking is hard! I think it's our teacher, his methods are really dry, whereas we had fun in Standard Grade 'cause we didn't have him, although he is funny, just doesn't teach us very well. Bastards. Yeah, English seems to be the biggest step up from the subjects I've chosen.
  9. Why thank you. However, I think that making our thoughts known to everyone else forms the basis of these forums, and I simply made my feelings known judging by your comments on this thread. If it wasn't particularly constructive I apologise, but I don't feel I'd be covering anything that hasn't already been mentioned. Likewise it's perfectly acceptable for you to comment on my IQ level, which I wouldn't consider a credible way to judge anyone's quality of discussion, but that's democracy, so live with it.
  10. Oh and Rune, judging by what you've written (I foolishly posted without reading everything and actually knowing where the discussion was going before doing so), you're clearly an asshole.
  11. They played Jump in th Fire by Metallica in Virgin one time.............
  12. I always thought it was like Man-No-War, but the themes of the songs I've heard don't suggest that, so I don't know.
  13. ....*cringes* I'm just waiting for my Standard Grade ones, which I think went wellish, but not immaculately, dread to think what it'll be like next year. Physics is the most difficult Higher (in all 3 weeks of it) so far. Ah well, have to make an effort I suppose.
  14. I've heard Die Dead Enough and the promo on the site for Blackmail the Universe. Wouldn't say it matches to any of the classic stuff (although I really like Youthanasia a lot too), but it has some heavy riffs etc. and I'll definitely buy it when it's released, even if I have downloaded it all by that time. On the subject of Megadeth, has anyone heard any of Marty Friedman's Cacophony work? I would definitely recommend it, although the vocals are a bit.........meh.
  15. Oh, I'll have the Puddle of Mudd one, haha.
  16. Wouldn't say it was anything special, but was still worth seeing.
  17. Meh, I'll need to check it out. The Wrestling Channel rules though!
  18. 1. Marty Friedman 2. Zakk Wylde 3. Dimebag Darrel
  19. I would like a soundproof booth to try out equipment, 'cause in R and B, I always feel really intimidated when I try something and sound shit then some dude next to me picks up a guitar and plays a Malmsteen song or something. I know I shouldn't be because it's not supposed to be about showing off etc. but I think more people would be inclined so try equipment if they could do it in privacy, like in Millers'.
