ive never heard a peel show as i dont listen to radio *hides* but im aware of the great peel and he appears on some very odd cds (doom for example, some wouldnt class that as weird i guess tho) but my girlfriends dad said he has a few tapes of recorded peel shows from.errr maybe 20 years ago or even more i must try get a hold of them sometime

anybody else gotten abattoir blues/the lyre of orpheus? this double album kicks nocturama in the nuts i have not yrt listened to the lyre of orpheus all the way through yet but i think abattoir blues is gonna be the best out of the 2 although i think nicks vocals are slightly weak on some tracks the music is absolutely brilliant, this release has made me forget how unkeen nocturama made me feel towards the way nick was goin sorry wrong forum
