  1. Yes a drummer would be nice but continue to post in this thread about all sorts of crap otherwise it will be doomed to slip on to page 2 and be lost forever like all the other drummer wanted threads.
  2. Love the metal. Feel the metal. Be the metal......or something
  3. Really if you'd read the Battle Metal issue of Metal Hammer a while back you'd have known this would happen. Sam writes Raphsody are gay of anything he can get his hands on. A good on him too.....hammers looking like underwear....I have a new found respect for those guys
  4. Is he on here? If so whats his username? If not can someone pm me some way of contacting him?
  5. Well I only listen to a few power metal bands. To be honest I doubt we really count as a power metal band. We draw influences from bands like Cacophony, Megadeth, Maiden, In Flames, At The Gates as much as we do power metal. The main problem is that we play so fast that the only drummers who can keep up are ones into grind/death metal, metalcore and power metal, and only the ones who play power metal are as technical as they are fast. So anyway do you think it's worth getting in contact with this Theo guy or what?
  6. We aren't based in Montrose. We're based in Aberdeen. I guess I'll add that to my first post
  7. Right. So I figure that after the Dragonfroce gig some of you buggers are gonna come out of hiding..... Everwicked are looking for a power metal loving drummer who enjoys playing drums very fast while at the same time being very technical. We are a mix of Power/Prog/Thrash/Speed Metal. You can hear some tracks from the Cd we recorded HERE . We've been gigging in Aberdeen and Dundee for about a year playing with Black Atom, Man Of The Hour and Madman Is Absolute. If any out there is interested send me a pm or email And we're based in Aberdeen, Not Montrose.
  8. o_O I play bass. Hit strings. Make boom noise.
  9. woo hoo!!! In the words of Alan Partridge 'Back of the net'
  10. I really can't see how this didn't take off
  11. lets just hope that their singer doesn't come down with a horrible 24 hour throat infection again. poor sod........
  12. http://www.myspace.com/everwicked Thats where I'd go. The website is a bit out of date.........maybe i'll get round to updating it someday.
  13. The sound at the moorings must be fucking amazing now with all the new equipment. Must get a gig there soon.
  14. So it was the mighty Brian Fudge i spoke to, I thought the voice sounded familiar. This will be a good opportunity to badger him for a gig and thank him for getting the other band to change their time of cour(s)e......
  15. Is there really no one who can handle the metal? shame.
  16. I wish the Everwicked mp3 thread had taken off like this one. We recieved three whole replys. woo hoo!!
  17. I don't really think the recording set up can be blamed for the sound quality of your demo. It sounds as if you had basically the same set up as we had when we did ours. I can't really grasp why you'd want to have a demo that sounds like yours does. Sure you've got a rough idea of your songs recorded but why not just hook a mic up to a tape recorder at practice and you'll get basically the same thing. We took our time and we were left with something we could seriously use to send to promoters etc and, in my opinion, is one of the higher quality (sound quality wise) local demos. I'm NOT trying to say you guys are bad, I've heard nothing but good things about you, but this demo makes you sound like you are. (I'd like to make sure that everyone is clear that this is a comment on the sound quality ONLY! This is not me having a go or making out my band is better. There is room for at least two top notch power metal bands in aberdeen and I honestly hope that Everwicked and Ascension can gig together in the not to distant future. Bring the metal of power to the masses etc)
