Everwicked have just lost their drummer (no not behind the sofa) and are looking for a new one. For those not in the know we're a dark epic melodic speed metal band (think dragonforce mixed with megadeth). Two tracks from our demo can be found here. We've gigged in Aberdeen and Dundee (with two gigs coming up in July) and are currently trying to sort out some gigs in Glasgow/Edinburgh. We're looking for someone into their metal and who doesn't have a problem playing in excess of 190bpm. Wed like to get things sorted in time to for our up coming gigs so anyone interested either send me a pm, post here or e-mail me here

Do you and elsmudge actually have ears? Or do you think every metal band sounds like black atom? Its like saying that Rhapsody sound like Iron Maiden, which perhaps for someone who doesn't listen to metal is an understandable thing to say, but seeing as your a fan of atom I'll assume you listen to metal and that your just being narrow minded.

Personally I don't really like sound checks, they're so depressing and you always sound/play shit during them...we I do. My case and point here is the last addicted to chaos gig at the moorings with Atom and the Gu we played so badly during sound check that Im sure we drove several people from the bar and filled Flash with terror but when we actually played it was rockin'. I guess this reply doesn't really go in to the purpose behind sound checks but if your using the same venue, same pa, same everything only with different people, a few different effects/sounds surely it can take a max of 60 seconds to fix levels. Everyone bitches way too much about this. In my opinion and experience The Moorings is the most hassle free place to play and the sound is always amazing and thats thanks to Flash and the time and money he's spent getting everything sorted.

A little bit off topic but if anyone wants to hear what it would sound like to mix Dragonforce and Megadeth may I suggest a journey to Cafe Drummonds on Monday to see Everwicked (addicted to chaos with a new name) or arrive in time for the first band at the Hot Mangu gig at The Moorings.

I think Goldfish is better but whatever floats your boat as they say....especially virgin megastore when they want you to buy something...but thats not important.
