on a similar side related note - how difficult would it be to do something similar but attach it to a gas mask say? (like a half mask if you will?)so it would still be vaguely musical and with a decent signal so i don't need to do more than whisper into it?

and this too is a very VERY valid point. experimentation is the key to musical survival. take risks. try something different. if you play guitar try something from a different genre than you usually play - say if you're into death metal try playing some jazz or country - will probably give you good ideas for new chords and ideas/timings. M

dave as soon as you mentioned aphex twin i instantly thought of grey stripe - the frequencies on that made me *really* uncomfortable and i had to skip the track... note to self - never listen to aphex twin "grey stripe" really loud on headphones...

i think i know exactly the guy you're meaning. but i can't find the total guitar magazine that had his interview in it!!! he plays a really weird guitar and dresses up in huge outfits?

and he also managed to get me in to see stampin' ground chimaira and everytime i die for nothing because i couldn't get a ticket! the man's a legend!
