I thought that was a really good night, all bands had something different and cool about them, really enjoyed it like! I really like the Tunnels as a venue too!

Hurricane Party were fuckin awesome! I had the EP before the gig but live they just blew me away, the future of rock n roll if you ask me!

I'm very pro-axl, I think the album is gonna kick ass, if it eventually comes out!

Speaking as someone who's first album bought was AFD and is still my favourite, Chinese Democracy is an album I've waited on for years! Every day I go to a GNR board just to hear if there is any news, only to be dissapointed!! For me, as much as I love Slash, Axl is the creative genius behind GN'R and I think the album has the potential to be as influential as Appetite was, if only it would just come out! Like the dude said, listen to The Blues from the 2002 tour, the new band really do kick some serious ass! I love all the new tunes, especially Madagascar and Chinese Democracy, and think that on record these tunes would blow people away! Ah well, At least we have VR, but lets be honest, Weiland isn't fit to lace Axl's ridiculously stupid big trainers.

I agree that there is no best in anything, just your particular favourites! I'd say Jim Morrison, Steven Tyler, Robert Plant all deserve a mention, but obviously my favourite is Axl Rose.

Think the album is gonna be great, not a big STP fan but I'm just happy that Slash,Duff and Matt are back, and Slither kicks ass. Now if only Axl would get his finger oot.............................

That was a great post by johnny Lucifer, Metal Sludge is one of my favourite sites and I pretty much agree with everything he said. Not a fan of Def Leppard tho! I aint ashamed of liking any bands either, I think Duran Duran are a good band, love a bit of Elton John and am kinda partial to a bit of Pink Any1 else............. no? :O

That's a great song. Axl had some great rants during his shows too, particularly one about Kurt Cobain being a "fuckin junkie with a junkie wife". Classic stuff!

Just bought the album today. I must say given the fact that "Book Of Shadows" is one of my favourite albums I'm quite happy he's gone back to doing the mellower stuff. I love BLS's heavy stuff too though, every album is great in its own way but I reckon "Sonic Brew" is the one I like best.

LA Woman, Live And Dangerous and Led Zep III come a close second but for me it's got to be........ Highway To Hell, the definitive AC/DC album!

Fair enough man, I've never actually seen Alyssas Wish so those opinions are not mine.

Unprovoked slagging is what this topic seems to be all about. Like any band we will defend ourselves and our music and post our own opinions in the process, get over it man. Anyways, we enjoy what we do and if people don't like it then that's their opinion, but don't try and make us out to be the ones who are slagging other bands without cause. I've already said that I respect every band in Aberdeen and don't want to stoop down to stupid slagging.

Black Atom are really good. I don't like to bash anybody because at the end of the day it is all music and we are all in it to have a good time. Aren't we?

I wish there were more "boring classic rock" bands in Aberdeen, might give us poor people a break from this boring and pretty shitty emo stuff that is everywhere I go. The Void are great too by the way! I'd quite like to come and hear your band neil ex.

The Deviadas rule! Can I just say that no-one has ever came up to me or anyone else within the band and said that we are shit. Perhaps he may hold this view but he certainly has never told us.

Anyone who saw us at the Malt Mill would agree that we are shit but we had our reasons for not being on form. Anyways the music we play aint gonna appeal to everyone, infact in Aberdeen it's gonna appeal to a select few. Rock On!

It's good that we are making an effect on people. Good or bad, doesn't bother us, we play the music that we love. We have people who love us and people who hate us, at least they are noticing us though! Thanks for the feedback though!
