  2. Um, this thread is about TV and Films...
  3. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen It was mostly bollocks. Too much human-based plot - it's almost like the robots are an after-thought for Shia La Boeuf's relationship with Megan Fox, his relationship with his parents (especially his "comedic" highly-strung mother), his going to college blah blah blah don't care. I want to see giant robots doing cool stuff. Which is awesome when it does happen - the scrap in the woods between Prime and a bunch of Decepticons is fucking ace. Overall it's pish. But hey - why not come to Transformers: The Pub Quiz at the Bassment on Monday anyway!?
  4. I find Voyager to be unbelievabley boring.
  5. TNG is the bomb, DS9 is the bomb, Voyager is shite, haven't seen much of Enterprise, but apparently it gets better as it goes along...
  6. New one: People who stand too close behind you whilst queuing. NO NEED. Doesn't make the queue go any faster by making the person infront of you uncomfortable. And then you look like the twat if you turn around and say: "back the fuck up dude!"
  7. I work near there (Ross Electrical), What an interesting view into my daily routine you've had!
  8. Learn Which GALACTICA Icon Just Joined Jack Bauer At CTU!! -- Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
  9. Currently getting through Neon Genesis Evangelion - it's ace. Too lazy to watch it with subtitles, though I'm informed it's much better in the original Japanese.
  10. You'd think if a large chain like FP were struggling, what with the their location/passing trade/kiddie-orientated toy stuff; then the independants would be right up shit creek... Still loadsa conflicting rumours flying around. If they do go down, at least there'll be an awesome sale. As long as they don't shut before Friday (pay-day), I've got about 100 worth of books to pick up....
  11. Sounds likely, I live on King Street, just opposite the Arts Centre. Was I wearing a dirty suit?
  12. My new Pet Hate... The over-advertising of feminine hygiene products, especially at meal times. Do we really need to hear detail like "enhanced grip"? NO NEED. I'm also reliably informed that there's little difference between brands...
  13. I watched Zoolander last night, hadn't seen it in a while and my gal had never seen it - still brilliant, especially the petrol fight. Stiller's best IMO.
  14. Pretty much any sci-fi show, old or new (Babylon 5, Trek ect) though I'm not guilty about them... I'll happily watch hours of comic-based cartoons (old and new). God bless marvel.com for streaming the '67 Spider-man series, the Nineties X-Men and X-Men: Evolution. My favourite is the Sixties Submariner show (part of their Marvel Superheroes series that also featured Cpt America, Iron-Man, Hulk and Thor) Oh, and Big Brother...
  15. Who the fuck's Ross?? (Seriously, it's so odd to hear people call Oggy Ross)
  16. I quite like that song...
  17. Various different rumours flying around. The staff at FP seem to think everythings cool and it's a straight-forward re-lease, Tequila Mike phoned the leasing agent and reckons they'll be gone in a month...
  18. Hmmmm... Location: Danny's birthday BBQ, Aberdeen Beech Doing: Drinking very heavily, jumping through the bonfire shoes on and off), sort of starting on Oggy (or at least in the way you don't know if he's being serious or not), falling asleep on a dune, multiple cock-flashings. To be fair, we were all pretty pished, my brother flog-splashed Neil Bonner through a table, Amy argued with men about Star Trek, all wholesome family fun. Binky did a sly KO too.
  19. And doing a spot of shopping, got 'Being Human' for a mate's birthday, on the auspices of getting a shot of it later....
