  1. CAFE DRUMMONDS TUESDAY the 9TH of NOVEMBER 7.30 Doors NATHAN BELL Nathan Bell has recorded with more than a dozen bands in the last decade. Most known for playing bass in Lungfish (Dischord Records) from 1996 to 2003, he has also worked with P.W. Long, Mighty Flashlight, Television Hill, an earlier version of Arbouretum, and Human Bell (who played at the final Tryptych Festival in Aberdeen). KOGUMAZA ...Kogumaza make music that marries the sound of fuzzed-out psychedelic garage-rock to an ambient aesthetic, placing it somewhere between the infinite repetition of Moondog and the spiritual throb of Lungfish. Formed in early 2009, the members' desire to break away from impersonal documentation-style presentation led them to develop an idiosyncratic sound and style that relies on the very free and loose manipulation of tones. Allowing what is basically a rock trio to expand and willingly lose control of their own sound in order for it to become greater and more beautiful than the sum of its parts. They are a small but mighty force. THE KITCHEN CYNICS Local legend. Storytelling, drones, dark humour, melody, he has it all. ASHLEY PARK First show in a while from Aberdeen's own Ashley Park. Singing songs of heartbreak and loss to people and reaching them on a whole new level. Think Mark Kozelek, Sun Kil Moon, Elliott Smith, Mark Eitzel etc. 5 Door Tax I hope you can make it along.
  2. Need someone to fix my DD3 for me, Basically, it lets the same volume through, but the actual delay effect is very quiet and very short. Apparently an easy problem to sort...but I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to swapping bits of circuitry out. Somebody help a brother out...cash monie$ for helping.
  3. I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these too.

  11. Hi! Title says it all really, looking for a good quality guitar cab, needs to be 16ohm and preferrably 4x12. Will be using it with a Marshall JCM 800 Bass series 4x12. So good quality only please. Condition is not an issue, as long as all speakers work correctly. Thanks. Scott
  12. i'd be interested in the spare tubes for sure if you want to let those go?
  13. nope, was a totally fine working amp, i just opened it up to fix the input jack as it had fallen inside the amp, and yeah, turned it on and the valve wasn't heating up or whatever, think its just there for show. Thats a behringer trick right there, one of their old compressors that was "valve" certainly had one inside it that you could see and yes, it looked like it heated up, but upon closer inspection, you realise their is an orange light behind the valve making it look on and warmed up, haha.
  14. no you are correct, if the VS is a valvestate amp, there are no power valves in the amp, just 1 pre amp valve which does nothing anyways. I once opened up a marshall valvestate amp and turned it on, and the valve was getting no power to it whatsoever, so not sure if it just there for show or not...
  15. i think he might still be selling this, i'll tell him to get in touch with you
  16. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha!
