I really like the Rival Schools album. Not so keen on the split with OneLineDrawing. But Undercover On and High Acetate are both tunes and so is Used For Glue, I don't care how scene that makes me. So great!

Great gig! Well done steve! Misery signals were incredible! Number 12 were awesome, glad i finally got to see them. I wonder what they would have been like with 2 singers and 2 guitarists...? I loved playing and i thought we played really well. One of my favourite ones i've played while in weapon. Thanks again steve!

actually, I think you'll find if you listen to the riff at 2:41 on "slaughtered" from far beyond driven you'll find that it is very death metal influenced. But yeah, Pantera weren't a death metal band, this thread is moving off in a tangent. Original poster, check out a peavey Valveking, great amps for the money. Don't bother with the VOX or the Marshall, waste of money.

completely disagree with this. Dimebag's tone wasn't that great one the first 2 proper albums, but from Far Beyond Driven onwards, holy fuck. Absolutely astonishing. It's dead clear, super heavy and fills out their sound where most other 1 guitar bands utterly fall flat on their face. Just listen to Sandblasted Skin! Fucking holy shit!

line 6 amps are fine for bedroom players and recording on occasions, but other than that, they are utterly useless, they don't cut it live at all.
