  1. Alas not, we are working on sweetening the CDr package haha. Next een though.... whenever that ends up being.
  2. I assumed it was that new free ads rag that has no long started.
  3. we'll do the Inverness gig with ya. Bonesaw that is... Hit up Birthmachine fae Elgin/Inverness they would be a good local band to have on the bill me thinks. Just outta interest. Do you guys talk at your jams? haha Strange place to be sorting this shit out... I'm glad i started it though haha. Sunday 29th you say? I'll be driving back from playing in Birmingham like. If you are on last or summit we might be back intime. see how it goes. Post the details of the gig please... who else is playing blah blah blah.
  4. Sounds like a volunteer!!! DOH!!!
  5. haha Easy Now! There is The Malt Mill as well!!
  6. fucking managers...? bunch of losers!!! It ain't so hard to organise a band. You just gotta be arsed. But if your in a band already surely you can be arsed? What's the point in turning up to practice if you don't plan on gigging. Knowing nothing about it is no excuse as it doesn't take long to find promoters on myspace. Or you could even ask other bands for info/help. It's a caring, sharing world we live in.... on the most part. The hardest part is getting all the khunts in the band to take the same time off work... Canna see a 16 year old Lassie telling Tony (or Chris for that matter) what to do! haha Just my opinion of course. If everyone works together it's no hassle at all. There's no I in Team haha and yeah yeah i know there's a ME. Ooka
  7. well John advertises his giutar teaching skills *cough* in the local free rag. According to sources anyway. Otherwise, i'd have to go to there door to remember the exact address and it's a bit outta my way. They do some kids record label too, which might be possible to track down. If i'm in BOD and remember i'll swing by and take note of the door number for ya. Tried a phone book? haha too simple i know...
  8. haha this is true. We have a few blasts in our newer tunes too. Not as many as me and Andy G would like but give us time!!
  9. Cliffard!! He is cousins with the Brew's who i am very much involved with musically. It's a just a fucking village haha. and yes Lucy was the name i was scrabbling for i remember there being a caravan involved somewhere along the line maybe it was just where Phil's courting took place... haha oh dear. I'm grand though Jo, the story is all coming back to me now. How's life treating ye? Music is still going well i've seen yer name splattered about periodically.
  10. i'll be sure to let him know.... hang on.... that's me!!! ye baldy khunt! haha
  11. cheers hog! Dinna listen too closely though, 4 x riff 1, 4 x riff 2 & repeat. 8 (ish) times riff 3 add solo, the end hahaha. Masters of simplicity.
  12. aye but i notice that is for a gig the same day.. which i was busy driving from Dover to Dufftown to Aberdeen during. Nowt else booked then?
  13. Death Match. Can be found on our myspace Bonesaw Let us know what ye think! Cheers Bazz
  14. Hmmm well she did live out the road right enough. I could have confused a strawberry blonde with light ginger i guess. I just remember her having issues with her folks so i'm sure she had alternative lodgings at the time. Could still be the sam lassie. Jo would certainly be able to confirm this... be interesting if she remembers ME actually. Been proper years now.
  15. I was sure i'd recognise the name when i saw it but that's ringing NO bells with me. She was a petite blonde.... that's about all i remember other than she lived in a caravan and went out with Phil Rae for a while. I'm sure Chris will remember. I'm thinking it's a different lass though, Rock Child had different lineups almost everytime they played. I have seen the guy who played bass for them around them time i was at Gemini Star, fucked if i remember his name now. He is still doing the band thing though, i'm assuming that's what he was doing at Captain Toms of course. heh
  16. Never thought i'd see the day but here i am.. POSTING A THREAD!!!!! on E106 forum haha. Do you khunts actually book gigs in advance? If so, do you actually advertise them? I think it's something you should look into. I know these new fangled ideas aren't everyones cup of tea, but i'm quite keen to find out if the last time i saw you was just a fluke OR if you have indeed got better! Let someone know when yer playing eh? Ooka
  17. She did sing, she also played guitar. I forget the name of the lassie who sang for them at the same time but Jo was dropped for her. Then she left like a month later haha. I'd imagine June tried to worm her way back with Jo. Rock Child was just another of those bands the Chisholms created for their "Genius" Son to flex his creative muscle in. I'm not a fan of "quote marks" but that was the word used, and it always made me laugh.
  18. I am by no means doubting Pantera's influence on Metal. I'm just giving my opinion based on my tastes. The fact that my flatmate is the BIGGEST (i mean that in both senses of the word) Pantera fan i know and have been forced to listen to riff-less chugging, and guitar squeaks... and the fact they have spawned so many piss poor Metal acts in there wake makes my disliking of them grow all the more. Lets see which Jack Russell bites my hand off for that statement. Seps on the other hand i agree. Beneath The Remains & Arise are fucking amazing. Every song is killer... Chaos AD is good & Roots is aright i guess. Been a while. Nothing beats "Inner Self" though. FF - there only good album was Soul of a New Machine. The remix album Fear is a Mind Killer had some good mixes on it too. Otherwise, FF suck. Who else can i slate....? Och, that'll dee for noo Ooka
  19. I 2nd that emotion. They have like 3 good songs on Burn My Eyes and that's it. Same goes for Pantera. The 1st half of Vulgar are the only good songs they have done. Other than Planet Caravan but that's a different story. But anyway.... MH are wank.
  20. Amon Amarth are actually quite good. Just heard them recently. Flat mate is going but i really canna afford it with Filthpact & Bonesaw both playing outta town. Maybe next time.
  21. yeah i know that ye muppet. But once i get rid of Grampian TV i wanna aim higher!! Who watches STV (it's nae ITV anymore oldman!!) anyway?
  22. aye!! He'd better turn up on the 15th April anyway! haha I'll burn Grampian Studios down in protest... BM has churches. DM has TV stations. I think i could be onto something... Who's up for a trip to the BBC if he doesn't show at Napalm at the Lemon Tree? haha
  23. Yeah Embittered were ace. I still like that demo. Been a while since i played it, but it has been dug out a few times since i bought it 15 years ago. Sounds like your opinion of me may have went up a little? haha
  24. Fucksake i think Chris has changed the least! Andy is noticeably different. Except the hair i would have said Chris still looked the same. What sorta recording is it? Live, rehearsal? We only recorded 1 song properly, well as properly as having no drummer would allow.
  25. Well it appears Paradise Lost was my 1st show but my 1st proper underground shows were the Embittered & Oi Polloi ones yeah. East Neuk baby! haha Had troubles convincing my folks to let me go at the tender age of 14 or maybe 15 by then.. Chuffed they let me though. I'm sure i have the Embittered demo tape somewhere too. Well if anyone wants some copies of these tapes then i'm sure one of TB's decks would work alongside mine through my amp. Let me know, you will have to provide your own tapes of course. Also available (along with Cerement as previously discussed) are Inextremis, Korpse & Hollowblast demo's. Sure there are more but canna be arsed looking just now. I know i used to have the Inextremis 7" but some Gypsy has stolen it!! From my own flat!! i thought i could trust folk, apparently NOT.
