  1. that looks like a film lens...so with the crop factor on the nikon it will not be 30mm more like 50mm. if you are on a budget you honestly can't go wrong with sigma lenses there is a new 28-70mm which is a beezer of a lens and 1/3 of the price of 17-55mm. will look out some links to reviews for you
  2. you need one of the newer models sb-600 or 800. will let you try one of these:up: you'll pick them up cheap on ebay. bought a d200 grip with two batteries from japan for 120 last week
  3. which model did you buy?
  4. flash has the full bifta lens...Nikkor 70-200mm/2.8 lovely
  5. yeah they are clever with their marketing tho' an advertise the s3 as 12Mp must be on the verge of releasing a new model with the price drop
  6. is it an older lens? try setting the aperture ring to f32 as it errors if you are using auto focus. nikon cameras come up with F:EE or similar when this happens. if i were you mate, would be tempted to send it back and pick up an s3 as they are down to just over 600 quid now and you will enjoy the benefits of a more up to date camera.

Buy them all...they are all amazing in different ways. Souls At Zero was the first one I heard and have consumed them all since then. The collab with Jarboe is a masterpiece. And if they tour over here again anytime soon make sure you don’t miss out!
