  10. what's wrong with it being there? the winner gets to play on Union Street at New Year (providing the stage doesnt get blown away like it did last year) so we thought it would be fun to enter...

  14. Machine Head was better anyways... as i said in the machine head thread lisa thought she saw the bass player from the Darkness standing at the hotel bar after we'd got back from the Barrowlands... i just thought she was imagining things 'it's just some funny lookin' dude with an afro and a dodgy moustache' when we came down in the morning to check out and stuff we were standing next to them in the queue.... Justin refused to sign lisa's machine head ticket.... apparently he was quite rude about it but having said that it was probably not wisest thing to ask him - especially in the morning time they had a pink tour bus the singer from god forbid did sign my ticket tho he was quite a happy chappy
  15. i came out of the toilet after the gig and lisa was speaking to the singer from god forbid - who were pretty ace i thought and he signed my ticket! hoorar! later that night we were sitting in the hotel bar and had a breif discussion on weather or not the bass player from the darkness was standing at the other side of the room i said nah.. just some dude with a funny moustache and an afro - we were standing next to the darkness while we were checking out this morning... so as it turns out it was him standing at the bar lisa then tried to get the bhoy justin to sign her machine head ticket he refused tehee.. anyways Machine Head were awesome.. as per usual.. great night

hmm... all these interesting bus stories reminded me of this one time, in Reading when me and jimmy were getting the bus back to my house from town - we were both 15 at the time and i got on the bus and said "two half's to [insert destination] " and the bus driver said "who's the other half?" - so i pointed to jimmy (those of you who may never have met him will not be aware of his tallness) and the bus driver man laughed and then refused to let him on unless he paid an adult fare - he was demanding to see ID that we didnt have - cos we were only 15... but anyways... we were getting off the bus and he made a little comment (something like.. next time pay the correct fare) and were all like 'we were trying too...' and then when he drove past us the door was still open and he give us the finger... how rude so we phoned up and complained - the people on the phone said he would be dealt with.. weather he was or not... doesnt matter but you should always kick up a fuss... always... it's the british way.. hoorar
  17. hey... you guys are playing with us and NFT on Jan 14th... will get something sorted in Feb tho cheers
