Contracts are only worthwhile if you have the money and time to pursue them legally. And chances are any medium to small sized venue will laugh down the phone at you when you mention the word.

Without being overly sceptical, we've had "guarantees" broken before. Always have a backup plan, because being someplace far away with a band and a load of gear and having no money to get home sux.

In theory, yes. But be prepared for occasions where turnout is low and they tell you they haven't made any/enough cash to pay out. Hell, we played a gig in Stirling once, and due to various events, it ended up being in this pub that they couldn't charge on the door at, so they had to go round with buckets and ask for donations for the bands. We got about 9 in small change.

Yes, yes... But are they headlining? Seriously though, good effort Bradley. Out of all the would-be "managers" I've seen thus far involved with Aberdeen bands, you've done the most managing. Booking such a tour is no mean feat, regardless of venue size or importance.

Forn the answer to all your questions, go watch and listen to Ministry. 2 drummers. Part "real" kits, part synth drums, part triggers. And a drum machine too. You can stand and watch the two drummers be totally co-ordinated in awe. Anyone who saw them on the Radio 1 stage at Download last year knows what I mean.

Yes, it all sounds pretty un-welcoming, but I guess it would have been their tour booking agent's responsibility to ensure they were fed and watered properly as part of the booking, along with riders and suchlike. We had the exact same thing on our UK tour with Demented Are Go back in October. As soon as the last note stopped, off the stage with the gear into the tourbus, and on with the rest of the night with the club. We also found ourselves living off our own cash, meaning chips and sauce and whatever was left of the rider (although usually we had the tour manager buy us more booze). It's tough given that they had something good to celebrate and had come a long way, but that's life. As a band, you need to know the beast before you decide to get in the cage with it!

The June 5th date was pulled by the promoters. Look for us to do a gig with them later in the year, and maybe other DAG/Klingonz support news. We also have some Liverpool/Manchester potential gigs, stay tuned. I'm giving nothing away on the new CD... Good things come to those who wait. Might provide an MP3 snippet on the website at some point though, maybe once we've finished the recording side of things.

In 2001, Lone Pigeon released the Touched by Tomoko EP and in 2002, Concubine Rice on Domino Records. Both albums garnered substantial critical acclaim. His songwriting touches on an ancient, almost medievil style. Lone Pigeons melancholic approach creates a natural yearning content, which any lover of good songs should find irresistable. You will hear faint strains of 60's era songwriting in there; think Fred Niel, Dylan, George Harrison and Barret. Anyway, he's coming to promote his new album 'Schoozzzmmi' and I personally think this will be a must see gig for anyone interested in good music. Yep, me. ESP Ltd Viper 301. It has neck thru body construction, is made of good quality mahogany (great sustain and tone), nice abalone flag fret inlays, jumbo frets (24 of them), good quality hardware and tuners, and a set of EMG HZ pickups that sound decent enough (they are basically EMG 81s without the pre-amp). Costs about 450 I think. Thoroughly recommend them, the Pro series ones are more expensive, but spot-on if you want a serious spec guitar for around 1000.

But see with that 0 and 1...? Us folks can make ANY number you want. It just takes us a few more of them than it does for you decimal oriented, carbon-based beings.
