  1. Repulsion - Horrified

    Venom - Black Metal

    Autopsy - Mental Funeral

Dream Theater - When Dream And Day Unite

    Opeth - Damnation

    Darkthrone - Preparing For War

Marillion - Script For A Jesters Tear

There is more but those are the definites.

  2. Worst price:

Not mentioning airports or anything like that.

Siberia - 2.90 for a pint of fosters. Pretty rough.

    Best price:

Moorings - (Band Discount) 1.40 or close to that for addlestones.

Archie Simpsons - Always good prices when I fancy some ale.

Jp's? - Went for a friends birthday a while back and I'm sure it was only 60p for a half decent vodka and coke.

  3. Well since you actually weren't joking, allow me to respond. Firstly, pulling someone up for their spelling and grammar is the poorest argument in the history of everything. And it's especially ironic when you yourself spell totalitarian and appalling wrongly. Secondly, my statement wasn't totalitarian in the slightest, it was just explaining why some posts on a music forum were deleted. It's hardly Nineteen Eighty-Four is it. We are not the Ministry Of Truth. There is no conspiracy. We're at war with Eurasia. We have always been at war with Eurasia. 2+2=5.

AFAIK - As far as I know.

I spelt totalitarian wrong on purpose. Spelling incorrectly to try and be ironic and bring up the fact that the modding on this site can be almost Nazi-like, hence the aryan in totalitaryan. I'll admit it was a pretty good play on words :D

Thank you for telling me what 'AFAIK' means. I now hate it.

Now now boys back to the chambers.

    I

  4. I think there is at least one event from the past that might disprove this. Didn't the case end up on telly?

Court t.v ..... Something very redneck/hillbillyish about that.

By the way Lucky Rathen, your spelling and general grammar in your totalitaryan statement was appauling and didn't make much sense. What the hell does afaik mean?

  5. Warehouse Vs Korova = Moorings wins.

Can't say I'll miss warehouse as I haven't been a fan for some years now. Full of dicks, thiefs and nonces. It was a good sized venue for bigger touring bands so I guess it'll be missed most for that. Hey hum life goes on.

  6. A friend of mine wanted to go to Warehouse last night, so I joined with much deeply contained excitement. Cue boredom. Then find out some dickhead has just helped himself into my friends purse and tool her phone and money. The cunt even took the change and some foreign coins she had. Winner of the scumfuck of the year award.

  7. Jesu are a bit arse live. The production on the records, especially the latest one, Opiate Sun, is perfect. The guitars are just a blanket of sound that he just can't recreate live. Also, Jesu are one of those bands you should listen to with headphones on, whilst laying down when it's raining outside. It's no fun to stand and watch for an hour.

Way to shatter my expectations. It is a studio band afterall. Lots of condensed layers of bliss. Silver is probably my favorite.

  8. Tunnels - needs to be given a makeover gearwise. Monitors have bee playing up in the past and with the same engineer behind the desk I have noticed a decline in the past few years. Could be the engineer but I highly doubt it. The local gig overkill should be stripped down! It is the same 3 bands every gig atleast 3 times a month. Yawnorama!

Drummonds - I don't know as I only go to enjoy an overpriced after the pub during the week every so often.

  9. Not that I'm a fan in the slightest but, having seen them in passing on TV, Dragonforce seem terrible live compared to their recorded material.

In moshulu years ago they were fairly going for it and had it all to play for. Years later in Glasgow they were an almost parody of what they were before. Glad they've disappeared into the world of video games and level 10 maces.

Electronic drums live .... Tut tut!

  10. Slayer - seen them a couple of times. First time was great but then after seeing them a few times I noticed they were just going through the motions and actually very dull.

Venom - never seen them live in the flesh but holy shit, live they're atrocious. Chronos has always said " want to hear venom? Listen to the record. See us live...expect Mayhem". They were never a talented band or the tightest musicians and atleast they admitted this.

  11. These guys really got me into it when I started getting out to gigs in Aberdeen when I was 13/14.

Len from Black Atom - He had the skill and musicianship of Mike Portnoy but also had the furious battering charm of Dave Lombardo. Glad he took me under his wings for the last few years of Atom. Learnt alot just watching him at the gigs.

Scott from Risactonia/Bonesaw - Exactly what I needed to hear and see for my age when I started to get Into the more extreme side of metal.

Paul Samat from Bodies - The first person I saw in the flesh who could blast properly. Needless to say I was hooked ever since I guess :D

Jason from Kghch - Anyone who can wrap their heads around those notes and formulas gets my praise. Good chops aswell I must add.

  12. Who: Fast Caz

    Where: Queens Street

    When: 2010

    Doing: Walking past me.

Well done to both you and frosty. Here have a tumour.

I haven't a clue who or what you all look like but aslong as whoever it is that keeps on buying me pints in the moorings and not introducing yourself, knock yourself out.
