  6. haha, A mile dragged - Split up Kaddish - Unexpected work committments. The Nothing - Were knocked off the bill in Glasgow due to communication problems between promoters, and didn't feel it was worth travelling up for one show. Burning Skies - Had to cancel due to delays in their album recording. To Keep It Safe - Singer texted at 5am on the sunday feeling 'sick'. Once I tried - Organisation problems with transport.
  7. Thanks for coming along, Glad despite so many of the bands pulling out you had a good time. Dave
  8. If its a quick live setup recording you want with no overdubs then go for toms, then get it mastered elsewhere (try Tom 10ew) afterwards. The bonesaw stuff was done this way and sounds great. If you want to spend a little more time on it then go for exile, Mark is very flexible on working patterns and hours and often will agree on a price before recording starts then take as longs as is needed to complete the job, rather than charge on an hourly basis. Alternatively if your band has access to a car i'd suggest making the trip down to dundee and recording at Robins (TFOBK/Jesus Elephant God) home studio. Also Tom from 10 ew is good at home recording and can come record your bands demo for a low cost and produce great results. Dave
  9. Calum I'd like the pedal if possible, get in touch if its still up for grabs. Dave
  10. Tom from '10 easy wishes', also know as 'Tam o' Shantie' on these message boards. Dave
  11. Listened to the mp3s, really liked the guitar work, Alot better than the tape i have of you, quite different from the live experience, If you have the time I'd suggest getting Phat Tom to do some mastering for you the lad has ears of gold and doesn't overprice. Dave

  16. ?( I would have given you at least 400 for that, Where did you sell it, Cash Converters?
  17. I hear the 2nd European tour is being booked for July .
  18. Take a first aid kit if you can. Avoid waitresses in Irish Cafes carrying hot beverages. Take plenty of cds to sell. Take sleeping bags, I've put up quite a few bands who've come with little to no sleeping stuff. Take plenty of mix tapes for the van. Take a pillow so you can sleep whilst sitting upright in the van. A video camera is a good way to save the occasion. If going out of Uk make sure you have health insurance/P111.
  19. Thanks to everyone who came along last night, helped out etc you all know who you are and i really appreciate your help with the night. The Aberdeen Metalcore/Hardcore/Crust scene at the moment is amazing, hope it stays that way. Dave
  20. Running Order: To Keep It Safe - 8:30pm Zillah - 9:15pm The 9th Plague - 10pm In Decades Decline - 10:45pm Broken Oath 11:30pm It has been decided to put the 9th plague on 3rd so as everyone coming to the gig will be able to see them as we usually have the younger crowd leaving from 11pm onwards for buses etc. see you all there. Dave
  21. Problem has been solved by renting a 2 KVa 240v->110v step down transformer from HSS which is then connected to a US 6 way extension lead, which was rewired with an Industrial plug on the end so as to be compatible with the transformers industrial plug. Thanks very much to those who offered their knowledge and opinions, very much appreciated. Dave
