I guess there's two sides to every arguement, however both stories seem quite different from either party and the brazilians, quote 'Wanting To Shove a Bottle Up Dave Bradleys Arse' seemed pretty annoyed about the whole thing.

Nah, other Dave (thurisaz) ran into them in a squat in Germany last week and after telling them he was from Aberdeen etc heard the tale of how Mr Bradley had kicked them off the tour before they got to the UK.

In my opinion they don't cut it live in comparison to on record, The whole kicking a brazilian band off a tour they've come over to play after they've arriaved and leaving them stranded in europe with no shows for 20 days is disgraceful.

I think the diuretics are a band who the 3 members love what they're doing, the rest of the world(myself included) will never really get what they're doing.

Desalvo were excellent, The intensity and 'In Your Faceness' of the singer was brilliant. Missed TFOBK and Soundgate due to work.

Kid Blunt are awesome split CD with Pugent Sound is great all punk/hardcore fans should try make it along to this one.

Struggling to describe this, perhaps hypnotic would be appropriate. Bring a cd along on Sat if you're coming and we can trade.

I believe there is no place for christianity in hardcore/punk. A group such as Norma Jean who have been reported to give strong donations to Pro Life charities and groups go completely against what i believe hardcore to be about. In total in came to just under 200 for the recording but it was done over 3 sessions, they do a pretty good live recording deal something along the lines of 1 hours practice and 2 hours recording for 50/60 quid this is what bonesaw did and the results were good, as long as you know the order you're gonna play your songs in and they're tight etc you could get them recorded in an hour then have an hour to mix etc. Dave

Narcorsis one of the UKs fastest and most technical grind bands are playing at the balcony bar Dundee on Sat 17th July, it is free entry and the venue is of a similar size to the old Drakes so should make for a great gig. Fighting Shit are from Iceland and play fast thrashy hardcore - www.fightingshit.tk Fighting Shit - Tuned for thrash - Review from Slug & Lettuce - Thrash Indeed!!! The drums on this are to be heard to belived!! Near grindcore fast from start to finish, but while grind gets boring in a hurry, Fighting Shit are anything but boring. Layers upon layers of guitars playing intricate (and interesting) parts. Venomous vocals, with insightful (if idealistic) explanations to go with them... this shit will remove your head from its shoulders. and drop kick it to kingdom come before you know what has happened. Tough as nails, but not an ounce of pretense to be found anywhere on tis disc, just honest down your throat hardcore.. and I totally love it. If you only get one record this year.. get this one.
