I'm cuttng down on promoting in 2005 and am only doing Narcosis in Feb for which the lineup is finalised, and am doing Radio Bikini in March which is also allready full sadly. My point being that his Black Flag period represents these morals you state he once had, Henry Garfield/Rollins is a human being, and as such is entitled to change his opinion, purpose or outlook on life and in doing so is causing no harm to anyone.

Last time i checked Black Flag hadn't sold out, all records were released through SST, They'd played club shows and weren't rocking arenas and were receiving next to no mainstream radio play. Henry has become a celebrity, so what ? how many people do you know who are doing exactly the same thing they were 20 years ago ? He's hosting a show on Monster Trucks, a topic completely unrelated to Black Flag or punk rock for that matter its not like he's gone and joined busted as their new singer and if he had i couldn't really give a fuck to be honest, live and let live, our time here is short and we should enjoy it doing what we want to do and i guess Henry wanted to host a tv show on monster trucks.

Punk won't provide a pension, the guy has to do something thats gonna keep him warm and fed in old age.......

Recently got one of the Hi-Capacity MD recorders, i'd suggest them as a great ipod alternative currently got about 12 albums on one disc so far. Also good for recording band practices and using as an external drive.

My two pence: The point being missed here is that the majority of bands on the warped tour are nothing more than rock bands with personal lyrics, and have never had or wanted anything to do with the anarchopunk/crust community, i don't see vans as exploiting anyone here (in reference to the sponsorship not shoe production) to be honest no more than say a brewery sponsoring a football team. I only want more people to become interested in the music i play/listen to and not create such boundaries between myself and them that it becomes unaccessible and written off as a bunch of over the top activists, sure Filthpacts lyrics are politically aware its a fucked up world we live in and i feel justified to comment on this, but the reasons we're in the band is to meet new people, see new things and most of all have fun. The punk community needs a new supply of fresh blood and if through such endorsement more people are introduced to the music then fair play, what it doesn't need is a scene police stating what is and isn't acceptable, people should be free to make their own decisions. This may contradict past statements i've written, but my mood and views change like the weather and this is nothing more than an internet forum.
