yeah this was great dross sounded huge and messy, looking forward to seeing them again sometime TAG were scary fast, i feel like i'm covering a point already made in this thread but yeah scary fast i was too overwhelmed by heat and noise by like 15 minutes of ablach's set but it sounded pretty brutal from outside

thought velvet audio were ok. v tight, polished, sounded nothing like their "influences". first song i was impressed with, it reminded me of phoenix. washington irving were a treat. usually bands that deploy uke and flute liberally sound a bit samey but this lot were all over the map stylisticalalalally. paws should consider a name change to "tits" or "bollocks", prefixed by the definite article. cos they really were. scuzzy, crunchy, dischordant awesomeness. worth staying up late on one hour's sleep for. can't wait to see them next time they're up. cd is mint too. props to steven milne as well, was going to head home from exhaustion but ended up showing thrapes to all comers during his somewhat eclectic set. great job!
