I've heard rumours that the reason McGuire didnt play wasnt because of a problem with JC, but with another player...which is absolutley pathetic if its true. Dont think JC had any problems with Phil, on the contary, remember this time last year he was constantly praising McGuire's versatility and even when he announced he wouldnt be playing next season for AFC, still referred to him as a great professional, something Calderwood would never say to the likes of Craig and Morrison. Jimmy definatley does have his favourites, who would need to do something horrific to be dropped, as well as people who will just never get a game no matter what they do. However, in my opinion, hes still the best thing to happen to this club in ages, and matters such as that can be easily overlooked due to the progress we've made under his management. Also, whoever is saying we should play Seve in defence is MAD, hes the best midfielder at this club, and one of the best in Scotland. He completley dominates that position when hes played there, and I would say his lukewarm start to the season is purely down to having to play in defence in the opening games of the season.

I hope Celtic's disatorous form continues, but usually when one of the Old Firm are in "crisis" they can just splash the cash to solve the problem.
