On Monday, i take the train up north in preparation for cycling the entire length of the UK, starting on Tuesday. Will be covering the 1000+ miles in 10 days and have been raising money for Macmillan, MS-UK, CHAS and Erskine. If anybody is interested i'm going to run a basic blog throughout the trip with some photos and chat about how it's going. I've already posted up the daily routes if anyone fancies a look. Collected a couple of amps from Dennis today- and asked him if the Aberdeen Music forum rumour was true...... that he was winding down. Relax.... he's still going strong and has no intention of giving it up. He did mention that he no longer works on keyboards or solid state amps. Judging by the amount of classic, tube driven hardware scattered around his workshop, I doubt he needs the aggravation of an MG15 or Cube. Yes, a local guy is/would be handy- but Dennis is the Daddy....... and his work is worth the geographical trouble.

I really wanted to neg rep you for that, but I just can't do that to a man with James Richardson as his av.

If there's one genre of music that needs to up its game in the pinch harmonics department, it's soft-rock ballads. Glad someone knows what's up.

I prefer the early stuff.
