palmer_eldritch
I just bought an AMon Duul compilation of their stuff between 1964-72. I have to say, im totally blown away by it. In Particular a beautiful track called "Wie der wind am ende einer strasse?". Simply awesome. Lots of other mind blowing tracks on the compilation. Any keen listeners of this band round these here parts?

Alan Cynic
I used to have some Amon Duul albums (Dance of the Lemmings and Yeti), but sadly sold them to the Cavern a few years ago to finance a holiday. I second the Can and Neu recommendations. Damon Suzuki (ex Can) is coming back to Drummonds in April. The last gig was brilliant!!
palmer_eldritch
bought Can "Tago Mago"! Brilliant. Really don't understand why i never bothered with Can before.Brilliant stuff
Jammer
I've got an Amon Duul II track on a compilation LP somewhere and it was one of the best tracks. I could have swore it was on the Age of Atlanic compilationwith Delanie & Bonnie, Led Zep, Allman Bros, Vanilla Fudge etc. but I just checked online and it isn't ...weird
palmer_eldritch
Just bought Can's Ege Bamyasi. Sounding amazing also. I'm thinking i might try and start up a motorik band but I can imagine it being pretty difficult to find the right musicians in Aberdeen. hmm. Would be awesome fun though.
