Fish isn't doing much at the moment, ask him if he'll want to play tambourine. Obvoiously you'll need someone for moog solo and facepaint. I wait with bated breath to hear your cover of Kayleigh, Grendel and Brave I think next you might want to do a Focus cover band in the style of 80's metallers Krokus... Hocus Pocus Krokus... Monk Rocker
This smacks of ripping off the mighty Schlanegar who did rap versions of Scorpions songs. I bet Cluskey is behind this.....

jester1470
Your not the only one cant wait to hear someone play that great prog rock classic Suppers Ready oops i mean Grendel live neo prog surely Actually I went to see a band last week in Glasgow who are effectively a Fish era Marillion tribute band and they rocked big time, very accurate sound wise, and a great night out. Well hopefully catch you on Fish's Misplaced Childhood Tour next Summer and if my plan comes to fruition you may even see Marillion's first foray to the North since about 1987 "Grendel !!!!!!!!!""Midnight suns bid moors farewell, retreats from charging duskMountain echo, curfews bell, signal ending tasksThey place their faith in oaken doors, cower in candlelightThe panic seeps through bloodstained floors as Grendel stalks the night..."CheersStuart

Just cos they ripped off one or two songs doesn't make them a tribute band, Marillion are very talented but they're no Genesis.CheersStuart

What's strange is I'd tend to think apart from a talent for 6th form poetry and great presence Fish is the least talented of the band then and now, it was the fact that the rest of the band were so good is why they managed to keep going. Although I admit in the days you knew them they did have probably the worst drummer ever in any band in the form of Mick Pointer, tho i've always rated Steve Rothery and Pete Trewavas very highly. No reason for apologising mate you saw them in those days a lot more than I did, and you're more of a musician, I just enjoy what was committed to record back then CheersStuart
