Metarie
Is there such a thing as a one bedroom flat for less than 300 a month in Aberdeen? Anyone have any leads? I'm not looking for somewhere until after summer next year but I'm planning in advance...
Snowball
Get a mortgage, if you possibly can. My payment on a 1 bedroomed flat is 215.
Rachie
Kate try the APSC and the other Aberdeen letting agencies, you should turn some places up there EDITYer, I'd agree with seriously looking into buying and mortgage repayments, the way the property market is right now it most certainly looks like things would end up cheaper that way. Invisible Lead Soup
Mortgages are handy things, yes. I recommend attempting to obtain one.
Chris
you'll struggle for one bedroom at under 300. You'd be better off sharing if you're on a budget.

Unless I can find the right person/people I think it'll have to one bedroom. Getting a morgage at 19 sounds scary though, it'll mean I'm grown up

Metarie
Live a little http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/acc/Services/Access/results.asp?page=12&propertyArea=*&propertySize=3#hmenuPLenty of places here under 200 p/m.....My flatmate has applied for a council flat (yeah, that's how much we all enjoy living here ) but I don't think it's for me really. If I'm going to live alone I wanna live somewhere I'm going to feel safe walking the streets (guess I should move cities then, hmm?) and near my boyfriend Anyways, I've found the flat I want, going to view it with my mum tomorrow and see how it goes. It might be a long term commitment, but at least I can make it my own and have somewhere of my own in the future. And it means i can get a kitty
