Ross
Death from Above may be playing here in Feb,Jesus Lizard are absolutely brilliant. Therapy? toured with them and Helmet in 1994/95Dismemberment Plan are utterly amazing. Never got to see them before they split. They were classified as Indie when Emergency and I came out. ApparentlyIndie is the new "emo."

Marillionboy
Currently listening to the new IQ album but it's not matching up so far, Electric 6, and just got Songs to Learn and Sing by Echo and the Bunnymen and a little Judee Sill. The Tenderfoot and Mew and my big "new" bands and both about to release new albums....anyone yet to discover them I'd recommend a look! Marillionboy
Do you know I have never heard a Wishbone Ash track. Which album is a good place to start? My local second hand record shop has a copy of the album with the yellowy colour and the treebranches on. Any suggestions? I recall IQ supported them on their 1985 tour so assumed they were in a similar vein?
