Paranoid Android
I think you might be right but after the first one I doubted I really needed to hear a second album from them but ended up liking the second even more. So I'll give their song writing ability enough credit that it doesn't matter if the sound is exactly the same.

Woodsinho
Tony Molina from Ovens with 12 songs in 11 minutes. Fuzzy riffs + sweet melodies + not outstaying its welcome = GOLD
Soda Jerk
Ovens are the best. Molina is an avid supporter of the guitar harmony. I respect that.
Paranoid Android
The Knife live album is out and sounds pretty great. I'm very happy to have a good copy of that version of Silent Shout. Also this happened this week. http://www.factmag.com/2014/06/20/stream-sheds-surprise-head-high-album-megatrap-in-full/ YAS!
Soda Jerk
I had no idea that wanker Frank Turner had put his shitty acoustic stuff on hold to play punk rock again, but his new band Mongol Horde are pretty good. New album is pretty rocking. He's still a shitbag though.
Paranoid Android
He's one of the worst people in the world.
Alkaline
Why do people have beef with Frank Turner? Granted, his solo stuff is fairly throwaway and tedious but Million Dead were awesome. Even on a personal level I can't see why anyone would dislike him too much.
Paranoid Android
Just hearing him speak once is enough.
Soda Jerk
I don't know if he still does it, but he used to do a blog, which was a pretty horrible read. He seemingly transformed from being quite liberal to being an uppity right wing tosser remarkably quickly. He just seemed to moan about punk rock and left-leaning people involved within it. I didn't mind his solo output when he first started doing it, but it seems that he turned into a bit of a prick when he started making it. Then he seemed to renounce a lot of the stuff he sang about on the old stuff once he became a rock star.
kirsten
I'm in dire need of discovering something new and ace. Any leads? I gave Honeyblood's album that just came out a listen and it sounds great, that's my one top tip. I'm subjected to BBC Radio 2 at work every day. Their album of the week was Morrissey's new one. Every single song they played from it sounded atrocious, can't wait to listen to the full thing on Spotify with a big glass of alcohol. Oh, how I'll laugh.
