Flights
I'm looking for a really cheap bass guitar. Any make or style I just need a bass for my little cousin to learn on.
kybosh
how about a fender GB 41 - SCE acoustic / electric bass , like new c/w gig bag £250 , it's a long scale neck and plays very well ,maybe not as cheap as you had in mind but he won't need an amp to start with and can practice at home without upsetting M&D ? Lemonade
I don't think £250 constitutes a "really cheap bass guitar".
kybosh
neither do I but something like a really cheap p bass copy with an amp won't be far off £200 , here is a fairly good quality bass that does not need an amp , perfect for learning on
Jaaakkkeee
I have a bass that needs the trust rod unstraightened a bit (fret buzzes to hell), a dodgy input that just needs tightened I think and a nob missing. Was 160 new...Only problem is I have no idea how much to sell it for... For what the repairs are I can't really give it away...
Lemonade
I sold a bass on here last week for £20. I'm thinking that's probably more what he's looking for. But hey.

Jaaakkkeee
I'll check tonight when I get home. I can't remember the model, all I know is it's black and was £160 from R&B in about 2006. My first bass. I picked it 'cause it looked cool. Ross.
Dunno if this is what you're after but maybe someone here is keen if you're not. I've got a nice black Ibanez GSR200 bass which is in perfect condition. Cheapest price for a new one I can find is £205. The input jack needs replacing and I think the battery cover is missing but otherwise it's in perfect condition. Very very easy to play so great for getting to grips with. Got an offer of £50 for it on here last year but I kept it and haven't used it since. Would take £45 or nearest offer.
