Chris
Anyone go to Drever McCusker Woomble tonight? It was hella good! Nice wee venue up there in Banchory. No background chatter either which was a boost! Yeah me and Dave were there. Great gig, shame Heidi Talbot was ill and unable to make an appearance but the main set was superb.I love Woodend Barn for gigs, it's a great room and I can walk there. Skacel
It's the first time I've been in there and was very impressed with the whole setup. I think they said Heidi Talbot will be returning next year so not too long to wait!
KarmaTsunami
If I hadn't been working I would definitely have been there - they were fantastic at the Lemon Tree and I'm a little bit in love with Heidi Talbot as well so looking forward to her return as well. Larsen B
Everytime I'm supposed to be seeing Woomble and co (be they Idlewild or Drever/McCusker) I end up in hospital the night before, so no way am I risking it just before Hogmanay! RossP
Any idea who's supporting yet?
Skacel
Last.fm reckon a band called Aerials Up are the support for the Glasgow gig, so it could be the same for Aiberdeen.

KarmaTsunami
Well, I thought that was magic, I'm deaf, sore and sweaty. I feel 15 again.
Chris
Idlewild were ace. Brilliant gig. I enjoyed that set more than the 100 Broken Windows set at Tuts (maybe not quite as good as the Hope Is Important one though).Fatherson were a bit pish. Adam Easy Wishes
Fatherson were a bit pish. They've been heading downhill since The Holy Spirit left them to pursue other musical endeavours.
Skacel
Really enjoyed the gig last night. Pretty sure I saw John McCusker in the crowd getting his dance on...
