The Ghost Of Fudge

Mongol Fundraiser > VAKUNOHT (remember Macrocosmica?) + THRASHIST REGIME + ELEMENT106

Recommended Posts

teamFUDGE present:

RISACTONIA

Speed / thrash metal titans Risactonia (its a potato

disease apparently) bring their not inconsiderable skills

to the fore after a somewhat lengthy hiatus. Flexing

their leathery wings as they blink in the daylight, theyll

play you an awsome set of pure brilliance, as promoter

Fudge continues to raise cash for charities in Mongol,

and Cancer Research in the UK. (OK, yeah, Im looking

at the last part as an investment, Ill admit...)

VAKUNOHT

Amazing Glaswegian stoner / heavy-blues rock outfit,

featuring a former member of the stupendous ex-band

Macrocosmica. Furious proggy riffs, gang vocals,

vicious drums, solos... they have the complete package.

THRASHIST REGIME

Catchy high energy technical thrash outfit, reminiscent

at times of Megadeth and Sanctity. Theyll hit you like a

hard, fast sledgehammer. And youll like it. Oh yes.

i'm afraid it looks as though Risactonia will be unable to play this show.

our thoughts are with their frontman, who i'm led to believe came off his motorbike this morning and smashed up his shoulder. hopefully, he's at least enjoying the morphine.

get well soon dude

Enjoyed both E106 (some corking heckling on display) and Thrashist (proper 80's thrash), left just after they finished.
