Paulscoconutass
Goldfinger - Hang Ups .I select this beast because it's got the perfect blend of musical harmony and bitchin' ska that i've ever stumbled accross. It's such a feel-good album, no matter what mood i'm in i can use it to boost me back up to a decent level of happines. It's a brilliant blend of Ska and Punk, i would probably rate this as one of my favourite albums ever. Every song can be related to by your everyday schmuk - The vocals are beautifuly nailed with chants and melodic parts. I simply love this album; it's that simple. Ther's also a fair bit of brass - although it's just small bits - which adds to the overall happiness of the album.10/

Lawy Lawson:Attorney
Jesus, a good question.I've got say Sugarhill Gang's Rapper's Delight or Jump On It, Grand Master Flashe's "White Lines (Don't Do It) or De La Soul's Three Feet High and Rising Album are all my "big dumb grin" songs and albums. "Ceremony" by New Order makes me want to just sit and watch the world contently. Dead Kennedy's "Plastic Surgey Disasters" makes me glad to be who I am, with the ability and knowlege go express disattisfaction with my surrounds or try and create something that shows it. Guest Sundaram
Some interesting/surprising choices so far! Here's a few of mine.Kes- OST: The flute playing of Harold McNair on this soundtrack is just so beautiful, it makes me feel content, summery, floaty.King Crimson - Epitaph: A quite heavy(emotionally) song, but it has a granduer and beauty that inspires me greatly. There are many more, but I cant think just now... psydoll
Surprising as a choice for this thread or for my choice? Slipknot's first album's so chunky and brutal that it makes me feel all energised and raaar! It pleased me to listen to it anytime and never fails to give me a boost in energy. As for Camie I think he likes quite a bit of that style of Britrock or whatever you refer to it as these days

Guest Stripey
Goldie - Timeless....that album always reminds of hot summer days in the sun, particularly the tracks "Saint Angel" and "State of Mind". Future Sound of London - Dead Cities...this album triggers some very dear memories for me, of when I lived with my parents, in the country, in the depths of winter.
