Alan Cynic
royal's still there. pretty sure it was the gardenston tho, which was also the stopping place to robbie burns one night but then succumber to a "mystery" fire few years ago after falling into disrepair!! /xOn reflection..I'm sure you're right! I should've known, as I added a verse to the old poem about 'Laurencekirk shall equal Rome' mentioning Lord Gardenston and his pet pig, plus the hotel landlord, Billy Cream. Stripey
having to kill an hour in laurencekirk is a really difficult and unpleasant challenge, especially at this time of year when it's freezing cold outside.

Alan Cynic
Just wait til the 'Max Garvieland' theme park opens....Or the 'Gallery of Tatties' where the Edzell Blue can be worhipped.Mind you, a place with such a rich history ought to have a wee museum (looking at weaving, snuffboxes & murdered lairds on Garvock Hill). PalmerEldritch
Banksy's got competition. Which isn't saying much as he's a load of cobblers.
fatboy
best subtle graffiti i have seen is when your facing the northern hotel, clifton road on the left, Gt northern on the right, look at the end of the wall on the left, where the first opening for where domino's is, the street sign that says clifton road look at the finger next to it! Sue Denim..
I found a 'clever' bit of vandalism the other day. You know the public toilets on School hill (opposite Games Workshop). Look for the disabled toilet sign. Someone has cleverly turned the wheelchair logo into a cock and balls.
