Hi-De-Hi 'Star' finds unexploded bomb

Recommended Posts

You know, i'm never going to get the two minutes of my life wasted looking at that back? Or the time wasted typing this. But I thought I'd better let you know!

Must have been a slow day at the BBC offices

I would've thought he would've welcomed something with that big a payload going off in his face....

But seriously, there's people dying in Iraq and our news space is taken up with tripe like this :p

To be fair, it's one of the stories that were probably hidden at the back.

"They even put a cordon up. I felt like running round Westbourne shouting 'Don't panic! Don't panic!'"

Oh dear lord...

Well, if those people dying in Iraq were celebrities then maybe I'd care. :p

Could this be the best and yet the most pointless news item today:

BBC NEWS | England | Dorset | Hi-De-Hi actor finds hidden bomb

Cheers

Stuart

It's the use of the word 'Star' that slays me.

My own favourite was "Eastender Star In Pub Brawl" - some years back (the S*n, of course).

The "Star" in question was some extra who had made a few background appearances in the Queen Vic.

The guy in this "scoop", got about two lines every 6 six weeks in H-De-Hi.

Well I cant actually imagine him for a second using Jones' other phrase ;)

"They don't like it up 'em" - I feel sure that's not true :p

Cheers
