The Kernel Loaf
I just wrote a huge review, then got a 'Invalid Event specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator' error, so fuck typing it up again.FATRB - we enjoyed playing. Not enough booing though.GOFONES - I didn't really get them. They lacked any direction really, which is a pity because they sounded like they had some good influences, but in the end it was just a convoluted mess put together.Damo - mental. I am sure seeing everyone that was on that stage was something pretty special. Mike and Jim on guitar were fucking excellent, and paved the way most of the set for transitions to different melodies.Dave - Incredible visualisations! Folk should hire this guy more.I had a great time. Thanks to Hen for asking us to play I will upload photos later.

Mr Owl PhD
I wasn't sure what to expect from Damo Suzuki but was really impressed. Mesmerising sound and very good visuals. Thanks to all involved.
lowball
i thought damo & his improvisors were fantastic, gofones showed lots of promisespecial mention to the opening twosome who were probably one of the least funny pieces of bland nonsense i have ever had the misfortune to witness

all_his_engines
That was the fourth time I've seen Damo play in Aberdeen, and I think it was probably the best, to be honest. Absolutely amazing performance from all musicians involved. I can only hope it's not too long until Mr Suzuki graces us with his presence once more.It does make one yearn for more improvised music on the Aberdeen scene. Mind you, you'd probably be hard-pressed to get such a quality group of improvisers in the same place more than once a year.....www.myspace.com/nopasaran1
all_his_engines
And in fairness to Fluffy & The Rainbow Bunnies, they know exactly what they're doing. I for one found them quite entertaining. They certainly went down a lot better than at the Fall gig.
