Fast Caz
Going off topic but fuck it.Maxi deserves alot of credit because he has helped boost Aberdeen's reputation gig wise , yeah maybe he can come across as a dick on here but fuck it it's the internet after all.He speaks the truth and maybe that's why alot of people in aberdeen dislike but oh well that just shows the state of the "scene".Back on topic ....... i like culture. I feel your posts are purely designed to generate an aggresive reaction on a message board populated almost 100% by enthusiasts of guitar based music. I therfore have no idea what you are trying to achive...you appear to be taking the role of an Aberdeen Music virtual Jahova's witness....please dont knock on my door I dont want a watch tower, unless its Hendrix's version. Stripey
Its amazing that you come away with these statements.... you are completely dismissive of all music that isnt computer generated' date=' anything that is guitar based is irrelevant in your eyes even though your own personal taste appears to be very narrow and specialised indeed. [/quote']First off, I take issue with the idea of "music that is computer generated". Computer generated music is limited to the bizarre experiments of academics and so on purely for theoretical reasons. Electronic music is not "generated" by a computer. Sounds generated by software synthesizers are no different than sounds generated by a hardware synthesizer or a guitar or any other musical instrument, and making a composition of these sounds on a software sequencer is no different than a classical composer creating an orchestral score on paper. Secondly, I certainly don't see "anything that is guitar based" as irrelevant, and my musical taste is a lot wider than you obviously imagine. "Imagine" being a key word here as you are so far off the mark in all respects. Thirdly, I don't see anything in the terms and conditions stating that you must be "an enthusiast of guitar based music" to use this site. So excuse me for being myself and talking about the music I love, you are just going to have to cope with it.

Swingin' Ryan
this toxic syzygy of ignorance about huge swathes of the genre spectrumIt could also be said that you are hugely ignorant about a lot of the styles of music that seem to be popular on these boards. I'm not saying I like them all myself, but the way you seem to constantly deride anything that has its foundations in guitar-based rock makes you sound like you lack the ability to see the merit in any style of music outside your own comfort zone.
