framheim
anyone else watching this amazing show? some of the footage last night was just outstanding, particularly the otters ganging up against the crocodile. this is what people pay a licence fee for, groundbreaking and epic television which is the best in the world. Last Wrong
The millions of flys were awesome, how they looked like plumes of smoke coming from the sea and yeah those otters are cheeky bastards!
lepeep
it's indeed an amazing programme, but one thing is missing, Mr Attenborough interacting with the animals, it's a sad sign he's getting too old to globe trot and do the presenting, so he just does voice over now...I think it'd be helpful for scale sometimes, especially that 2 meter long salamander... framheim
he is going to be presenting his next series which i believe is going to be called life in cold blood.http://www.guardian.co.uk/conservation/story/0,,1713481,00.htmli don't think he had as much to do with the production of this series just the narration hence why no appearances by him. The Ghost Of Fudge
it was all about the otter gang for me.and the crazy 'lost world' inspiring rock formations. cool.
Paranoid Android
I've only seen the second epsiode so far but I have last nights taped so I can watch it soon. It is an extremely interesting and very well produced piece of television. If the only the BBC produced a few more programmes of this quality it would be unlikely they would have as many critics as they do.

Swingin' Ryan
The programme is incredible, but the one where the Wolf killed the baby Caribou was ten of the most depressing minutes of television I've ever watched, and then they followed it up with the lost baby Elephant. The Baboons tip-toeing through the water waving their arms about like John Cleese cheered me up though.
Chris
The Baboons tip-toeing through the water waving their arms about like John Cleese cheered me up though. That was ace! As was the bears swimming around and sniffing the camera while scaring salmon.

framheim
After i sent an email asking why the series had stopped half way through i received this reply from one of the producers this morning:Dear David,Thanks very much for your feedback - delighted to hear you have beenenjoying the series. The simple answer as to why the series is split in two is that we haveyet to finish the second half! Filming has now more or less come to anend (give or take a handful of shoots) but we still have to do all theediting and other post production work on them. The good news is that weare all very hopeful that they will be as watchable as the first run.Hope you agree.Best wishesHuwNice to see important people such as this taking the time out of their day to reply. Shame it's not finished but i guess animals don't work to schedules.

Anyone else heard Sigur Ros played loads on Radio 1 since they used the song on Planet Earth?
