Does anybody have an old phone that they don't want anymore or would be willing to sell very cheaply? The one I'm currently using doesn't even have a back and all the lights flash at random. PrincessHolly Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 What originally happened was that I dropped it in a bucket I'd spend the night of the Fudge awards throwing up in. I stuck it in the airing cupboard overnight and it seemed to work fine after that but I dropped it yesterday and now the main screen isn't displaying anything at all. It's a flip phone you see - the mini display will let me see how many messages I've got and all that jazz, but if I open it up I can't see anything but a bright shiny light.I'll take it to that shop and see what they can do, if that's nothing, then I'd love to take you up on your offer Rachel. No offence to the people offering help but if you don't use the bloody thing in the first place why charge someone who needs it, what are you going to do with the phone, use it as a paperweight?I know she offered to buy it very cheaply but isn't this site more like a community then a city, wherein you help other people out? People ask for help about information and it's provided for free, ask for a piece of hardware and everyone starts charging, if you have something you don't use, give it away, i have done in the past (with a 14" tv of all things) and will do again.
