totally.. it's like ginger people (like me). I don't get offended by anyone using ginger to get my attention or in a jovial way. different if they are trying to slag me then the red mist descends just as it would if someone was being called a nigger. Why can't PC fucks just cock off.

i really disslike the fact that people get upset about this shit, if you take offence when somebody says a word that is considerd racist in a light hearted way then maybe you gotta quit being such a pussy

i call my asian friend all names under the sun and he calls me white devil and whatnot, we dont phone bill cosby and ask him to help with our lawsuits due to pc standards cause its just words

I think the key word in the above post is "friend"...

the kids to say nigga but when the teacher says it back he gets suspended for ten days without pay. Obviously the teacher is dying to say - what the fuck is the problem' date=' Niggah.Click me

it's also about setting an acceptable standard.

fair enough it's a bit daft, but, you can't have a teacher "decending" to the level of the people he is trying to educate out of their ignorance...

tough shit, i'd imagine you get away with more with your friend because you're actually friends and have a good idea of each others sense of humour. there has to be different standards for when you're dealing with people you don't know or when in a position of influence.

the whole pc argument is a crock of shit used by idiots just so they can get away with offending people and lay the blame on those being offended rather than their own inadequacies. they're the real pussies.

if it's ok for the pupil to use it then it has to be ok for the teacher to use it. take away their roles and if it was just two people, then i don't see what the problem really is. is the little Niggaaah, upset cos the white man used his words? or is he just jumping on the bandwagon of racism.... if the teacher didn't use it as a tool of racial hatred then where is the problem. Like i said above, if someone uses ginger to get my attention thats fair game cos i am ginger. but if used derogatory then it's not on. same goes for the use of niggah in my opinion.

don't be silly. black people began using the word nigger to take the power of the word back, to appropriate it for themselves. it takes on another context when white people use it and aside from anything else stinks of trying to hard to be down with the kids. yes it's all about context but there is very little justifiable reasons for a white person to call a black person nigger or nigga. if this clips real(it still stinks of bad comedy sketch) then no matter how informal and matey the kids are when they call each other nigga it still doesn't give a teacher the right to call them that. teachers should be above that anyway(though i'm not naive and fully understand how tough teachers have it).

i fail to see the parallel between the use of the term ginger and the use of the term nigger. unless you can jog my memory of the ginger slave trade or the ginger civil rights movement any time soon.

I understand where you are coming from but the word has been adopted into the language and I can't see the problem. How many black teens use the N word becuase they are aware of it's historical importance. very very few. If they use it then it's fair game. We've moved on from the slave trade era. As long as it wasn't meant as a racial slur then really, what is the problem!!

if someone comes up to you and says "aye aye cuntface"' date=' and you say "hello there cuntface" and they take offence to the word cuntface - it's like the chewbacca defence. it , does, not, make, sense.!!!![/quote']

but again that's a different thing entirely. cuntface isn't race specific or even alluding to race.

We're talking about Niggah, not nigger. Nigger is racist and i don't condone it's use.

You're like a brick wall aren't you.

I'm trying to show that someone taking offence to someone else using the same words they have used does not make sense.

The teacher wasn't being racist, so what is the problem!!
