that's a real shame, one of the few voices of reason during the war and his arguments were always well thought out and logical. he didn't always come off as the nicest of guys but he'll be missed as a guy who had principles and stood up for what he thought mattered.

Yeah. I'm sure his ex-wife agrees:

As politicians go, he wasn't bad, and I fully agreed with his stance and subsequent actions over the Iraq war, but he was *far* from squeaky clean in either his politics or personal affairs.

hey, like i said he wasn't always the nicest of guys. i meant political principles of course.
